Hotel Room Style Condo w/ Cal-King Bed and Twin Sofa Sleeper, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 3)
Newly remodeled with tile flooring throughout, breakfast bar, bamboo cabinets and granite countertops, and new tiled shower!
Hanalei Bay Resort unit 7101 is a privately owned, lovingly cared for hotel room style condo. This ground floor unit features a private, walkout lanai that expands your living area and brings you even closer to some of the greatest views on the island. You’ll enjoy a relaxing night’s rest in the luxurious cal-king bed with Tommy Bahama bedding. There is a wall-mounted flat screen TV with DVD player for your entertainment, and air conditioning for your comfort.
You will also find beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, tennis racquets, and other equipment to use for your adventures throughout the island. Why pay the prices at the St. Regis hotel when you can get the same views, and much more value for your money?
This condo is located in a more private and peaceful area of the resort, away from the parking lot and commotion. Both swimming pools (including the lagoon style pool, rated by Fodor’s as one of the Top 10 Resort Pools in the US) and barbeque area are just a short walk away. The resort features 8 tennis courts with an award winning program by Peter Burwash International. In about 10 minutes, you’ll find yourself at Pu’u Poa Beach, shared with the St. Regis Resort. Complimentary bell service is available and can provide transport to and from the beach, as well as around the property. Everywhere you walk on the property you will find lush tropical grounds with flowers and greenery as far as the eye can see.
Hanalei Bay Resort is located in a quiet, residential area of Princeville. Just next door on the beach is the St. Regis Resort, which has several dining options available. There are also restaurants located at Pali Ke Kua and the Westin, which are just a short drive away. Just a little further in the car is the Princeville Shopping Center, which is a great place to get your groceries, as well as more dining and shopping options. There is also a gas station and post office located here. The majority of (and greatest variety of) nearby restaurants and shops are in Hanalei and Kilauea.
The Happy Talk Lounge is now open, and serves lunch and dinner!

About Lisa Steele (Owner)
My name is Lisa Steele, and my family and I are the proud owners of a lovingly cared for vacation property at Hanalei Bay Resort on the North Shore of Kauai.
Lisa Steele (Owner) purchased this Condo in 2003
Why Lisa Steele (Owner) chose Princeville
We fell in love with this beautiful, tropical resort during a vacation to Kauai many years ago. We finally had the perfect opportunity to purchase this unit in 2003 and now are able to visit our island paradise several times a year.

All you need for your Kauai stay. It’s a studio room (but well equipped) at a beautiful resort.
The room is quiet and private. It has a comfy bed despite some other reviews and a flat screen tv, lovely bathroom and all the things one would need In a small prep area except a microwave. That wasn’t a big problem for us as we went to the happy talk lounge almost every evening for happy hour. The food was fabulous and the beer very cold. The view is spectacular and one we’ll never forget. Lisa also stocked the room with a nice welcome gift of local treats and had great beach chairs, umbrella and small cooler which was very handy! We toured the entire island and feel that Hanalei all the way to Ke’e beach may just be the most beautiful place on earth although we only had two days of sun the week stayed, they were the best days of our entire trip.
Resort is awesome. Room is great for 2 people, with a kid a bit tight. Need microwave and drain in sink slow but those are minor.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then the photos and description of #7101 says it all!
From first opening the door to last closing it, the warm welcome of HBR and Lisa's hospitality shined.
What a lovely home-away-from home in an excellent North Shore location. So relaxing, comfortable, clean and well equipped with just about everything we needed. Did miss a small microwave, but managed just fine without it. Especially appreciated the consideration of stacking side tables and bedside power strips for ease of use and keeping our phones powered up.
The ocean and mountain view from the bed is exquisite and having an end unit gave us privacy and opportunity to stroll the grounds at our leisure, coming and going throughout the day. Loved the daily visits from the Nenes and other exotic birds. The luxuriously tropical swimming pool and hot tub were enjoyable with gorgeous views and surroundings. Being able to conveniently rent snorkeling gear from the activity center is an added bonus.
Just like Lisa, the resort staff couldn't have been nicer in responding to questions and needs and making us feel welcome.
Mahalo for everything!
Glad you both enjoyed your stay!
Overall it was amazing and majestic. We would love to return.
So I would like to start with the resort, it is beautiful, stunning really. The location of the unit we stayed in was further back so there was not a lot of foot traffic, which was nice. We for sure got our excersize in as we did a lot of walking to the beach 5-7min away and a steep walk back which was okay with us. The restaurant there was excellent, awesome food, drinks ambiance.
The condo, overall was great, beautifully decorated and newly remodeled. The major down side was that the bed was horribly uncomfortable, like hurt your back uncomfortable, and the pillows are flat and could use replacing. The bed did not bother my husband too much but my back was killing me the entire time. The other downfall, is that there is not a microwave, which was a bummer for reheating food.
None of these downsides would prevent us from coming back, because we didn't come tom Kauai to hang out inside. I would for sure recommend this place, it was our honeymoon and we were very rested when we left.
The views are hard to articulate they are amazing. The beach was nice as well. I would give this place 5 stars if the bed was comfortable and there was a microwave. It's awesome.
Perfect location and view
The studio was just perfect for my small family of 3. I loved having the baby nene's and the mom and dad come up to our lanai. The only negatives were that we wished that there was a dishwasher for our dishes. We had to wash them in the bathroom sink. Not a huge deal though. We also called the personal housekeeper for more toilet paper since we only had a couple of rolls and ran out towards the end of the trip. She told me that we would just have to buy more! I was a bit shocked by that. I would definitely recommend this place though and wished I could give 4.5 stars. It's an end unit with lots of privacy. We had a great time.
Beautiful condo, a very comfortable home away from home!
We loved our stay at Hanalei Bay resort. The condo was really comfortably set up with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen is well stocked, the living area is spacious and comfortable and the bedroom has a very comfy big bed and TV. It is located in a quiet location within walking distance of the beach, the outdoor sitting area has a lovely view. There is also a lot of beach/swim equipment at the condo. Lisa the owner was great to communicate with, we had to make a few adjustments to our booking and she was extremely helpful and quick to respond to emails. I highly recommend this condo and will definitely come back to stay here. Thanks Lisa!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed your time in my condo!
