Michael is very nice to work with. The major selling points of this place are the kitchen and the a big beautiful backyard. The reason for my 3 stars is that I think there's a lot more potential for this home. First of all this is a good place for families. But I would say that we ran into a some issues though small that began to add up to be a little frustrating. There were no working lights in the master bedroom. The ceiling (including the big living room) is not wired for lights but the bedside lamps were broken except for one you could use if you plugged it in and took it out to turn it off. The master bedroom drain was broken in the bathtub. The toilet seat was partially broken and the toilet ran a lot though we tried to fix it ourselves. The washing machine which I appreciated having had the handle broken off and it's challenging to open it with a jagged piece sticking up. I wish the kitchen was better stocked with baking dishes so it was easier to cook meals there. Some of the shelves were grimy & broken. It seems like a redoing of lining the shelves would go a long ways. I thought there were plenty of plates and mugs. Silverware was adequate. The backyard was beautiful but wish it had been cleaned up upon arrival because it's very stunning. There was a lot of debris over the ground and all of the chairs and tables had thick cobwebs on them. So we cleaned the backyard up ourselves. The grill was great and so was the small fire pit. I really wish the pool would have heated up in the 24 hrs that we turned it on before having college students over for dinner. It's such an inviting part of the property but it's very cold. The hot tub was adequate. Please know Michael helped us through this time to figure out how to get the heat on. I'm sure it's very expensive to keep it heated but you need to know it's not warm.
The house has a strong musty odor when you first walk in, maybe former smokers and the carpet needs replacing. The furniture and pillows need a good clean. The bedrooms were adequate and bathrooms clean. A deep house clean would be good. Again, these are minor things but do add up when you want to come in, relax and count on efficiency. I wouldn't stay here again but if these concerns above would change I would definitely rent again.
I hope this review is fair and helpful. There is great potential with this property and I would be willing to pay more per night if the items above were addressed.
Anthony cleaning I like the house but the 3 thing I not happy the faucets bath & smog detector &bbq
1 @ the web said the price but when you check rules the said extra cost for the pool and Jacuzzi ,also not batteries in the smog detector the bbq was really duty some light was burn
Also the hallway bathroom the faucets shower and faucet sink was broken I call the owner for report and he said he call he's handyman by I talking him we can fix so I replace a new faucet sink and make work the faucet shower we stay for 8 day before left the house I call the owner to meet him for see the maintenance thing I fix but him was not in town but I call for asking about and never call me back buy the house good only need more attention for the kitchen things they need blender the outside refrigerator don't work the bbq don't work properly some lamps don't work
Amazing backyard and pool.
This property was a great spot to spend time with family and friends. We stayed there for 10 days and rarely left the backyard and pool. Michael was really easy to deal with and answered questions in a timely manner. The inside of the house is dated and could use a facelift, but overall it's a great spot and I would recommend it to anyone who is heading down to the Los Angeles area especially Disneyland or Knotts Berry Farm.
WE LOVED STAYING HERE! THE HOME'S LOCATION WAS IN A VERY NICE NEIGHBORHOOD THAT HAD BACKYARD PRIVACY. THE POOL WAS AMAZING, WE COULDN'T GET THE KIDS OUT OF THE WATER. THE PATIO POOL AREA WAS FUN WITH A GRILL AND FIRE PIT. THERE WAS PLENTY OF ROOM IN THE HOME, THE KITCHEN WAS A NICE SIZE WITH A GOOD SIZED FRIDGE. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!
The pool was our favorite spot, after a long day at the parks to come home and relax!
The only thing bad was not enough washcloths, towels etc. but we just went to Target, we had all our grandkids there and just to spend time in the yard and the house was big enough to accommodate all 17 of us
Family Fun Resort
We would definitely come back to this rental home! The house is lovely and Michael was easy to work with.. He came over when there was an issue with the stovetop and it was taken care of. He was quick to answer questions via phone or texts. The backyard was definitely the highlight and our extended family enjoyed being under one roof while in the area for our daughter's wedding. The kitchen is adequately equipped but could use a few more things for large groups, such as a crockpot and kids' plastic dinnerware since you want to eat outside. We added some dish towels to the collection but overall, everyone raved about the property!

A word about excessive usage: This occurs when the pool features are left running all day.
