Great location and all the amenities I needed for my vacation.

I came down to Miami to enjoy the Miami Open tennis tournament and the beach and Vik's place was as convenient as any place could be for that purpose. Just a short walk to the beach and everything you really needed within walking distance. Especially good was the Big Pink restaurant next door, which is styled as a fifties diner and gives the largest food portions I have ever seen. Having my own parking spot was necessary for traveling to the tennis tournament. Vik as well as everyone on his team and the lady at the front desk was very helpful. All of the amenities and supplies you would need were either provided in the condo or could be picked up at the grocery store next door.

The only complaint would be that there was some noise, although the first part of my stay coincided with the ultra music festival and spring break, so I guess some noise could be expected. On the first few nights, I was awakened at about 1:00 a.m. by loud engines which sounded like drag racing on Ocean Drive. The lady at the front desk explained that the police had appeared to have been getting worn thin by spring breakers -- it appears that Miami Beach is now going through what Fort Lauderdale, Daytona, and Panama City have dealt with in the past and, hopefully, can learn to control spring breakers in the future. Although there was also some noise surrounding the condo itself, it was definitely quieter than any place north of Fifth Street and the overall noise decreased as the week went along. I would definitely like to stay here again, although maybe at a different time during the year.

I understand your frustration with spring breakers making noise and you are completely right that the noise factor is increased during the month of March due to the ultra and spring break especially since my condo is across the ocean even though I am in the quieter area of South Beach as I am below 5th avenue and the noise is much worse from above 5th avenue. Unfortunately that is not within my control but I am glad you were able to enjoy your trip. I am sure if you book again in any other month you will notice significant difference in the noise factor. Hope to deal with you again and thank you for taking care of my home!

Nice Condo - Great Location

The unit was exactly as advertised, and the pictures are accurate. The condo is nice and in very good condition, but basically furnished. The linens were all good quality and the furniture and appliances were all in good condition. The furniture and bed was very comfortable. It is the best stocked rental I have ever stayed. Be sure to check the cabinets before going to the store as there is good chance they already have what you are looking for. There were ample beach towels and even beach chairs and umbrella. There is also a great little market next to the building which had nearly anything you might need during your stay. The view of the ocean is from the corner of the balcony, and is beautiful. The sunrises were spectacular. The condo building sits behind its sister building to the west. There is a street/alley between the two buildings and there is a small pool at the east building which you have access. Part of your view from the balcony and the den is of the building to east. The only real issue I had with our stay, which was not mentioned in previous reviews, was the noise coming off the alley between the buildings. It seemed every morning a truck would come through between 6 and 7 am. Since the alley sits between several concrete buildings on each side the noise really echoes. You could also hear people talking out on their balconies with the doors closed. The location is excellent and in the quieter part of South Beach. About a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. There are so many great restaurants within short walking distance. “Upland” had my favorite happy hour that I have ever been. Vik was excellent host and communicated well throughout the rental process and during our stay. Had a couple of questions during the stay and he responded immediately. He is quality owner who cares about your stay and that is always going to make your rental a positive experience.

Due to the hurricane many buildings on the beach were affected and severely damaged; however, most of the buildings are in the tale end of renovations and people moving their furniture back in. Thus this issue of street noise should be resolved very shortly. Even though natural disasters are not within any owners control, I apologize for it and I am sure at your next visit the street noise issue will be much less reduced especially considering the area of south of fifth is the quieter section of south beach. Great Location.

Leave the building and walk through the little park and your at the awesome crystal clear warm water beach. Right next door is Big Pink, nice restaurant and bar with a huge menu. Walk a couple blocks north or south and your at the happening Ocean Drive and south pointe park and pier respectively. Not having to worry about where your gonna park or pay valet everyday is huge. The place itself and the building themselves are very clean and quiet. Vik the owner and his property manager Carlos were great. We had a great vacation and were sad to leave.

Great SoFi location for everything SoBe

This condo is wonderfully located South of Fifth, but within walking distance to the heart of South Beach, and even up to Lincoln Ave, if you are up to walking several blocks. Even over the raucous activities of Memorial Day weekend, it was calm there. Though we weren't right on the beach, we loved at least having an ocean view from the unit, and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Vik and his manager were great to work with and very accommodating. Covered and secured parking was included - a big perk on the island. The unit is spacious, has a great kitchen with everything we needed. We appreciated also having a washer and dryer right in the unit. The pool is great too - never shaded. We would definitely rent again!

Great location at a reasonable price.

If you are looking for a nice spot close enough to the action but not in the middle of it, then this is the location for you. This is not a 5-Star hotel, but it's a simple condo with all the comforts of home with an air of privacy, a sense of security and free parking so you don't have to worry about getting your vehicle towed. You will also be able to enjoy a cup of coffee on the balcony while enjoying the view to the ocean.

I wish I lived here

Stayed for a month with wife, my 2 year old, and new baby. the place felt like home - fully stocked and clean with nice furniture and applicances. the balcony and view of the ocean are great. I took my toddler to the playground every day before going to the beach. Then I worked remotely on the reliable wifi every afternoon. the pool was nice and WARM on the few chilly days. there is a little grocery/market directly next door to quickly grab whatever you need. Also, elevator is large and there are ramps for everything - great for a stroller (or wheelchair). In-unit laundry was awesome for the messy kids. Hoping I can come back every year forever!
