Savannah's Best Kept Secret

  • 5 of 5

This cottage is a true jewel. Built in 1886, it has been renovated tastefully and artfully. The owners are accommodating and charming. Stepping in the front door felt like coming home after a long journey. We loved the red accent walls and the decor. The sofa is sinfully comfortable and we slept like babies on the bed. The rear door leads out to a back deck and the common pool area. It's rather unique in that several properties come together in the back. The pool was lovely to come home to on a hot day. This was our third stay in Savannah. We will definitely be looking to rent this home in the future.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed staying at the rental unit. The guests and neighbors in the nearby units were really nice. The location is in close proximity to all of the historic downtown sites that we were there to see. We enjoyed the pool - it was in great shape and very clean! The A/C is in great working order and the unit has a number of nice ceiling fans. The only minor complaint we had is that the mattress could definitely use replacement.

Great location! Location! Location!

  • 5 of 5

The rental is in an amazing location near the park, a block away from Krogers, and within walking distance of everything in the historic district. The pool is great and a rare commodity for condo rentals in historic Savannah. I will return again and again.

Needed to delay our stay

  • 4 of 5

We were scheduled to arrive in Savannah on October 10, 2016. Yes, correct, right after Hurricane Matthew wreaked havoc along the coast. I was in frequent contact with our host, David. He was so sweet and helpful about giving regular updates. Then Matthew made an "appearance" in North Carolina, where we live. A very large tree which was on our lot fell and crushed a friend's car which was parked on the street. I e-mailed David to tell him that we wouldn't be able to leave until the tree was removed. He replied to me and told me that Savannah was still not really able to accomodate guests. He offered a six month window within which we could reschedule our visit. He also said he would pro-rate the fee if we chose to visit for a shorter time within our original dates. I told him we couldn't leave and would contact him to make a reservation for a future date within the six month time. He wrote back and said he completely understood and offered to help in any way. I am very impressed with everything related to this experience. I will be sure to review our stay, once we...stay! Until then I just want to say "kudos to David and VRBO. All of our experiences have been great."
