Charming cottage with one of Maine's best views along the coast
Comfortable with a kitchen stocked with almost every dish, pot or pan you could use. Also stocked with firewood. Neat and clean, but exspect normal wear and tear from being so close to the ocean
Beautiful view, quiet getaway
We spent two weeks at this property and enjoyed it thoroughly. The furnishings are simple, but comfortable and the view is great. Even though the photo shows a three-story house, only one floor is available. That said, it's well laid out and the deck (our favorite place to hang out) is spacious. We had one night of spectacular stargazing, because there were no clouds and no light pollution. Nice easy walks down the street and little to no traffic. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway.
Spruce Head Main rental
We have returned to this truly wonderful home away from home for the last three years. We will continue to enjoy its scenic setting beautiful ocean view surrounded
by Maine forest with sparsely placed country homes. It is convenient for short trips to nearby points of interest such as museums and gallery's with plenty of places to dine and partake of main specialties. The owner is warm and friendly and maintains his property with excellence and pride. We recommend this vacation rental without reservation.
Cozy, Comfortable Home w/ Great Views!
What a wonderful find! This is a cozy and delightful property, with beautiful waterfront views from the living room and deck. The owner was gracious and welcoming. The home is spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped. Mom & I spent lots of time just sitting on the deck, but also enjoyed day trips to Owls Head, Camden, Rockland, Boothbay Harbor and Thomaston. This property is situated in a great location and made it easy to explore MidCoast Maine. I hope to re-book again in the future!
A Comfortabe Vacation Home in a Charming Setting
I always have a lovely stay at this house. There are beautiful ocean views from its rooms and scenic deck. The view encompasses incredible sunrises along with kayaks, lobster boats, loons, osprey, eider ducks and an occasional glimpse of an eagle. This is a charming piece of heaven even on a cloudy day. The home is spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. It is convenient to Rockland, Thomaston, Camden, and Port Clyde. It's a great place to explore all the facets of Maine. But if you want to stay home enjoying the spacious deck and view, you'll be happy and have all the comforts you need. I look forward to returning to this delightful home this season and many more.
