My name is Kathleen Ford and I am the property manager for Serenity Falls Cabin. I recently spoke with a Guest staying at the cabin, and she mentioned that when she arrived at the Cabin, she was very pleasantly surprised by how comfortable, serene and totally private it is. She said she almost did not book it because there were no reviews, but was very happy that she did!
This cabin is new to Vacation renting and the Grand Opening was July 2014. Please stay tuned for future reviews!
This review is a long time coming as we stayed over a year ago (4/9/16-4/16/16), but as it is Spring time again, I am thinking of the lovely week we spent at Serenity Falls. Things I loved about the cabin: It's historic and rustic feel combined with the little valley it's in had a very Cades Cove feel. Loved the hot tub on the deck above the rushing stream. Followed the stream up the mountain behind the cabin as far as we dared, it was so much fun, remote, peaceful. Hiked the park trails accessed from the trout farm at the end of the valley - saw an amazing waterfall and not another soul. Our dogs loved exploring around the cabin and chilling on the porch. I brought an art set with me and painted while sipping coffee on the front porch in the morning - so relaxing. Also, walking the dogs up the valley road, past the goats and along the stream, very nice for us and exciting for the pups. Kitchen, bedroom and baths had everything we needed. Both baths are a nice size with large soaking tub in lower bath. Bryson City is very near, easy to go out to eat or grab groceries. The only con I can think of is that another cabin is just in front and slightly down hill from Serenity Falls. When the neighbors and cleaning crew are in the back yard they will have a clear view of you sitting in your PJs on the front porch. But the hot tub is behind the cabin and very private. Honestly, my week at Serenity Falls was one of the best vacations I've ever had in terms of peace and relaxation. I dream of returning.
We loved this cabin! It was a wonderful quiet getaway for my husband and I for our 4th anniversary. Great place to stay!
This cabin was not bad, but we did have a few issues. The fireplace had a terrible back draft and we had to keep the doors open most of the time. Luckily, the weather was warm so we ended up only using the fireplace one night. The other problem was the upstairs was so hot and we had to run the fan. We kept the propane heater on the lowest setting and it still was too warm. The cabin was clean and the other amenities were fine.
What a great little cabin in Bryson City! The house, the property, everything about it was wonderful. We are definitely thinking about going back in February (hoping for snow). We used both fire pits, the fireplace inside and the hot tub! One of the favorite places we have stayed. Our only "concern" was there was no can opener :) There were 4 cork screws but no can opener. We looked and looked for one and then laughed and laughed. Cans got open with a little improvisation so all was good. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.
We had the best time staying in this cabin. It's a perfect location! The house has everything you will need...including toilet accessories. If we come back to this area we will definitely stay here again!
Serenity Falls Cabin is located in a very private setting along side a noisy Creek just below fabulous Water Falls! A few minutes up the road is a stocked Trout Pond, so catching your dinner is minutes away!
