My sister and I inherited this townhouse in 2010. We live in Colorado and Utah but have always enjoyed visiting this area.. especially as a warm up in the winter.

What makes this townhome unique

The golf course, pool and recreation facilities provide lots of entertainment for us and our kids. Shopping nearby. Good mountain biking and hiking within a short drive.

Our senior community in Sun Lakes (one renter over 40), offers pool side cafes and formal dining options, multiple country clubs and swimming pools, hot tubs, several golf courses, tennis courts, fitness center, walking trails and many community activities ( arts & crafts center, bridge and other card, billiards, jewelry making, etc). Endless shopping & dining opportunities plus many major attractions are located nearby. Our townhouse is just a short walk to the Cottonwood Country Club.

A comfortable stay in a great location

This property is located in a great location and was in the exact community we were looking for. The unit is quite dated, but fairly clean and comfortable. It could use a deeper cleaning and yard work. We had room to entertain several guests for happy hour, but found the patio furniture uncomfortable for any lengthy stay. The use of the golf cart was an added bonus and quite convenient. Response from the property owner was very good.

Family visit

We spent 3 weeks at this property while visiting family in Sun Lakes. The property was convenient for all our activities and for visiting sites in Tempe, Scottsdale and Phoenix. The property was clean and well maintained; everything worked well, including the AC. We liked not having to deal with a gate pass. The decor is a bit dated, but the kitchen was well equipped. We used the golf cart a couple of times to go to the pools and we got the renters' cards in order to have access to the Cottonwood activities. The only negative was because it was summer and so hot, the skylight over the dining table allowed that area to become quite warm by the afternoon. Luckily we weren't eating dinners there, so it wasn't an issue. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated Bruce adding time to our initial rental.

Unit was clean, spacious and very well provisioned. All appliances worked as they should. Owner was very accommodating to our needs/requests. Recommended property to friends who have rented for next year.

I needed a rental for a short, wait for my house to close, stay. Called Bruce and he was very nice to talk to and accommodating. What a cute comfortable place with anything and everything you might need! One big plus was that you didn't need to stop at a gate to get to your place. Loved the small patio which looks out over green grass, trees and lovely sunsets.

Amenities at Cottonwood Palo Verde:

Play the par 72 championship golf course at Cottonwood and our par 62 executive course at Palo Verde.  There is a well organized tennis club that provides opportunity for players of all skill levels to practice and play on one of the seven tennis courts. There also is Pickleball and Racquetball.

The fully equipped fitness center has separate male and female facilities. There is a lap pool, a children’s pool and three swimming pools within our community. Palo Verde has two indoor racquetball courts, a community park with bocce ball courts, a nine hole putting green, and horseshoes. Walking paths surround the many beautiful lakes in both neighborhoods. Palo Verde has a fine dining restaurant and a spacious bar lounge area to meet friends. Cottonwood offers a sports bar atmosphere and more casual fare. There are also many classes, clubs, and organizations available to homeowners and renters.
