Great location and price!
Great location very close to the mountain and lifts. Great price for this cute, convenient studio.
William was great with communication. The fireplace is great, and the condo is so close to everything. Will definitely stay again.
This was a perfect place for myself and my daughter. Great location, cozy and comfortable! The owner was very easy to work with as well 😊
Cozy and close to the lifts and shuttle
Overall it was a nice stay. There are a few little quirks to the place...many of the lights didn't work. Also many of the outlets didnt work. The trim in certain areas is falling off as well. However it was close to the town shuttle service and walkable to a few places to eat. Also fairly close to the lifts making the location ideal.
Excellent stay. Everything you need and nice extra touches
Perfect location for our August visit to the Aleska/Gridwood/Whitter area. We arrived to clean and comfortable accommodations. This cozy place had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable including a well stocked kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, etc). The bed is snug and warm. It may be time to consider a new mattress on the lower bunk? Our favorite thing is the fire place that adds a warm glow, romantic glow to the large studio apt. It was easy to rest in this lovely quite hideaway. Our host recommended a few things for us to do in Anchorage before making our way to Gridwood including breakfast at Snow City Cafe. ( go there!!!). I would love to stay at this cozy oasis again and again!!
Exactly as described - cozy and great location
The property was exactly as described. We came during a summer week and used it as a base for participating in the Alaskaman Triathlon which starts in Seward and ends in Girdwood. The place is a great base for exploring the Kenai Peninsula, easily reachable, cozy and clean. Would absolutely book again.
While visiting Girdwood here are some ideas of activities. Ride the scenic tram to the top of Mt. Alyeska and capture the panoramic views of Turnagain Arm, surrounding mountains and “hanging” glaciers. For the active, hike the new North Face Trail to the Upper Tram Terminal and catch a complimentary ride down on the tram. Explore the floral and fauna of North America’s northern most rainforest on a hike on the Winner Creek Trail. Take a trip out to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center just ten minutes south down the Seward highway to see moose, bears, caribou, bison, musk ox and much more! Take a helicopter ride up to a glacier high in the mountains and dog sled with an authentic Iditarod team. See the valley surrounding Alyeska Resort from the skies with a tandem paragliding outing paired with a certified paraglider. Choose from a variety of full-day cruise adventures in Prince William Sound (Whittier) just 15 minutes south of Girdwood or Resurrection Bay (Seward) 2 hours away.
