This Condo is very livable and clean, remodeling is completed. Please take advantage of our Pre-remodel rates for this Ski Season. We have added the Den/Bedroom and the kitchen is complete. We will be adding two more full baths and a fireplace for next Ski Season.


Our unit is 403 Wheeler House which is just a 2 minute walk to the Super Bee lift and ski right to the back door at the end of the day. From the Super Bee lift there is easy access to any part of Copper Mountain. There is also a great tubing hill located next to the the Super Bee lift as well as restaurants and shopping.

Parking isn't a problem because our guests have their own reserved space in an enclosed heated garage and additional parking in front of the building. Then it's just a short elevator ride to the 4th floor unit #403. There is also additional parking across the street in a paid parking garage/area. You'll be provided with two garage door openers, two parking passes one for the garage and one for the gated area. If additional parking is needed there is free parking at the enterance of the resort. Just put a note in the window with your name, number and where your staying and the dates your staying in case they need to get a hold of you.

Our condo is a spacious two level Penthouse with 3 bedrooms and a den/bedroom, two bedrooms upstairs one with two queen size beds and one with a queen & twin. The down stairs master bedroom has a king and the den has a twin. Each floor has bathrooms which have showers in the tubs. The washer/dryer is located upstairs in this unit or there is a coin operated laundry room in the garage area.

This unit will comfortably accommodate 10 people. The living room looks out onto some of the most majestic peaks of the Ten Mile Range towering 3500 feet overhead. Upstairs there's an open balcony which overlooks the 8th hole of an 18 hole golf course and some of the tougher ski runs coming down from the Super Bee lift. The living room has cable TV, W/DVD/DVR & VCR player with separate dining area that will seat 10 and an equipped kitchen give or take an item or so.

Wheeler House is close to both the Alpine and Super Bee lifts. The location is ideal since it's just a short walk to the shuttle which takes you to the center or over to lifts that access the easier terrain of the mountain. Copper Mountain Resort has many new services and shopping. Several good restaurants are right here and if you tire of Copper Mountain it is a short drive to Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, or Winter Park. There are also free shuttles to Keystone and Breckenridge.

For summer there is a private picnic area with a Bar-B-Que just outside the building next to the golf course. We are located close to Frisco, Lake Dillon and at the gateway to all of the high country around Leadville and beyond. There are many wonderful opportunities to hike and ride horse back in the area with trail heads close by. Bike paths are available from Copper Mountain to Vail, Frisco and Breckenridge. Also, available year round, is the Copper Mountain Athletic Club with weekly rates.

There are also two gate openers and two parking permits to use during your stay. Please make sure that these are left in the condo for our next guests. "If not left these items will be charged to your deposit".

After entering Copper Mountain, turn left at the first stop sign. Stay to the right at the fork to the end of street. Our building will be on the right. Garage entrance is at the south end of the building.

We have been owners at Copper since 2002. We have skied most of the areas in the state and have always preferred Copper Mountain. A great location and relatively close to Denver. We have enjoyed this resort for over 20 years.

Copper Mountain is so well laid out with the easiet terrain on the west side, the medium terrain in the middle and the hardest on the west side. It is one of the best mountains for seperated terrain so you don't find yourself on a run you can't handle. Our First purchase at Copper was in this building and throughout the years we sold our unit and purchased two other units one in Center Village "Mountain Plaza" and one in West Village "The Lodge". Copper made some changes and bought the Mountain Plaza building putting restrictions on our unit we did not agree with. So when the unit became available at Wheeler House we gladly bought the bigger unit "Penthouse" and sold the other two properties.

What makes this condo unique

In the winter our family has loved waking up and walking about a block to catch a lift to the top of the mountain and at the end of the day skiing right to our back door! We've also enjoyed ice skating at the center, taking a sleigh ride to Dinner in the Woods at Copper Mountain, Dog Sledding at Breckenridge and snowmobiling up Vail Pass.

In the summer we are centrally located to wonderful drives like Independence and Boreas Pass. We've loved our bike rides to the top of Vail Pass and down all the way to Frisco. Very exhilarating! We've also loved to boat on Lake Dillon or packing a picnic and taking lovely hikes among beautiful wildflowers. Fun abounds!

Great location; some issues

Wheeler House is situated close to Super Bee and Pitchfork lifts making it great for families with small children and those who want to ski advanced terrain as well. The condo is also outfitted with some kid-friendly activities and movies. This was much appreciated; we especially liked the covered chairs at the dinning table.

We were prepared for the "tired" look of the condo since we were informed of the renovation expected this summer.

However, this was no excuse for the lack of cleanliness of the kitchen. The stove and refridge were unsightly with hunks of burnt food in the oven and dried food on the shelves of the fridge! The tinfoil covering the catch trays of the stove burners was black! This should have been removed and replaced with new foil if this is the method for keeping those trays clean. We also found dirty dishes and food packages under a couple of the beds.

Though we were told the rental did not allow pets, apparently the building is pet friendly. We did not mind the dogs in the building. We did however, mind the amount of dog waste that littered the snow around the condo. This made is impossible for our kids to play in the snow!

It was great to have a washing machine in the unit especially because we had a toddler with us. The layout of the condo is very convenient for sleeping children.

It would have been nice to have an info packet on Copper Mountain including transportation options etc.

All in all we enjoyed our stay and thank the owners for the use of their condo.

Great value

We enjoyed our stay at this condo, close to the Super Bee lift. Very spacious for the five of us with a nice layout. Kitchen was well stocked. It's going to be updated but has good bones so we enjoyed our stay there. Would definitely return.

The midwest

Comfortable and Convenient

This property is very large and comfortable and the management was very helpful. It is close to the bus line and it is ski in/ski out. Super Bee lift is in your back yard, as is the ski rental shop. The large porch for morning coffee or after ski glass of wine was great. The view from the living room and porch is wonderful!! Our family had a blast and will look out this property again next year.
