A newly renovated mid-century modern retreat nestled directly behind the exclusive shops, galleries and restaurants in the heart of El Paseo Drive. A rare and fabulous location with access to all that El Paseo has to offer, literally at the end of the driveway!

Completed in August 2011, this entry level 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo features a spacious open floor plan with travertine floors, designer furniture, granite countertops, and a nicely appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass doors in every room provide a fabulous view and easy access to the 1000 sq. ft. travertine tiled patio with private pool/spa, outdoor shower, comfy outdoor sectional sofa set, lounge chairs and BBQ. The complex is small and quiet, and the condo is a corner unit with high walls surrounding the patio to provide the ultimate in privacy for your getaway.

Watch your favorite program from the flat screen TV in the living room or either of the bedrooms. The living room also has a gas fireplace, PVR/DVR, DVD player and Bose speaker system for your IPod. There is wireless internet and local/long distance phone calls to anywhere in the US or Canada. Why The Owner chose Deserts

We chose this condo for it's mid-century modern architecture and it's rare and incredible location on El Paseo Drive. We love to escape the wet weather at home and relax in the sunshine of the desert.

What makes this condo unique

Walking to Starbucks for a latte and then strolling the shops and galleries on El Paseo. Relaxing afternoons on the patio with a good book and then some fantastic appetizers and drinks at Mama Gina's on El Paseo.

Absolutely beautiful condo!

This condo is sublime. The minute my hubby and I walked through the door we felt relaxed and so at home. The condo has everything you need if you love to cook, and all top quality. Centrally located to all amenities and attractions.

Carolyn is wonderful and always available. I would highly recommend this condo and look forward to returning!

An all round great experience!!

My husband and I recently stayed at this tastefully decorated condo. What a treat! The condo itself is beautiful, fully equipped and comfortable. The outdoor patio is so private. We started and ended the day with a swim and hot tub. So relaxing. It is set just back from El Paseo Drive which is a pleasure to stroll to enjoy the fine art shops, high end (window) shopping and many cafes. From the condo it is an easy drive to a multitude of destination points. We could not get over how much the area has to offer, from great entertainment to amazing hikes to just poking around in "off the beaten path" antique consignment stores, filled with treasures. Our host, Carolyn, was available to answer any questions and went the extra mile to make sure our needs were met. We would highly recommend this beautiful oasis.

I can`t say anything that hasn't already been said in the other reviews except that the condo is highly sought and thus heavily booked. If you can book it, I guarantee you won`t be disappointed.

As others have said, great condo, great owner, great back yard/pool/hot tub and in a great location. What more do you want?

Hidden Gem in a Perfect Location

We recently stayed at this amazing property with another couple. It is located just off El Paseo, the Rodeo Drive of Palm Desert. It's an easy walk to shopping and dining on El Paseo. The unit has been remodeled top to bottom and the pictures don't do it justice. The finishings are high end and the unit has a very modern, relaxing vibe. The 2 bedroom layout is very private and both bedrooms, as well as the living room, have sliding glass doors directly onto the stunning backyard pool and hot tub. There is also a second larger very nice pool as part of the complex that feels like your own private pool. The complex grounds are meticulously maintained and very serene with fabulous west facing mountain views. We met the on site property manager during out stay and you could tell he took pride in maintaining this lovely complex. The unit is also in a perfect central Palm Desert location with easy for access to communities up and down the valley from Palm Springs to La Quinta. Carolyn, the property owner, was fabulous to deal with and quick to answer any questions we had. We would certainly recommend this property to friends and are already looking to re-book for next spring.

Palm Deset Haven

We spent a week here in September and loved it. It surpassed our expectations. Decor is very tastefully done and the place was squeaky clean when we arrived. The patio is very spacious with a small pool and hot tub to refresh in. The walls around the patio provide complete privacy, and we felt very secure there. There is another larger pool for the whole complex, which we used on several occasions. The location of the unit right behind El Paseo provided walking access to all ammenities and shopping. The Palm Desert Community Centre is a walkable distance down San Pedro Ave, and is worth a visit. The owners have been very easy to deal with, and were quick to respond to our communications. If we have one complaint, it would be the minor hassle of the opening and shutting the front gate to the complex when driving in and out.We strongly recommend this place.
