About the Property

For the rest of 2016:
•$150 per night, for double occupancy (2 people); $128.50 per night for seven nights or more
•$25 per night for each additional person; $21.43 per night for seven nights or more;
•half price for additional persons if they are kids under 8 years old.
After 1 January, 2017, our rates will be changing:
•$175 per night for two, plus $30 per night for each extra person for the first two nights;
•$150 per night for two, plus $25 per night for each extra person third to six nights;
•for all months except June, July and August, $950 per week for two, plus $160 per week for each extra person,
•If the extra persons are kids eight or under, their cost is half of the amounts mentioned above.
For 2017 bookings made before 31 December, we will keep the 2016 rates.
We do bookings directly with you, not through the VRBO www site. This saves you money and time. Payment is generally by Interac e-transfer, PayPal or cheque by mail. We have an established reputation in regard to payments, reservations, refunds and cancellation arrnagements.

About the owner: We are Rebekah and Malcolm. We have lived here since 1987, brought up our two kids, Shenny and Anpayo, in this house, and have many friendly neighbours. Rebekah works as a counsellor for kids and families; Malcolm designs houses and First Nations cultural buildings. Our kids are grown, our daughter moved out, our son at Lanagara college, and still living at home. Our grandson, Carter (6), also lives with us.
Why the Owner Chose Kitsilano (Kitsilano, Vancouver, BC, Canada):
We bought this house because we liked the neighbourhood, and we have lived in this area since 1978. We turned our garden level apartment into a vacation rental by completely re-buillding it, because we realized there were so many visitors interested in staying in the Kitsilano area
