In town for UT stuff? Memorial Stadium is less than two miles away and we're right on the UT shuttle route. Downtown sightseeing is an easy outing too--you can walk to the state Capitol in about 10 minutes.
If you're into the outdoors, one of Austin's finest treasures, Pease Park, is right around the corner, including access to Austin's vast hike and bike trail system. Zilker Park, home to Austin City Limits Festival, is just 2.3 miles.

About Judy Walsh
My husband Dennis and I have stayed in VRBOs for many years and so I have a good sense of what guests need and want for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We absolutely love the live music scene in Austin, and the youthful, spontaneous nature of urban living. We are avid bikers and spend a lot of time exploring the bike trails and paths around town. Everything we do is within a few mile radius of our home, including our vacation rental. That means we can make sure everything is in top shape for our guests, and respond quickly should any problems arise.

We lived here for 17 years as we developed our careers and businesses, and started our family. In the late 90’s opportunity took us away for 10 year and we chose to come back “home” to our favorite place to live, Austin, Texas., with its relaxed lifestyle, friendly hospitality, and edgy personality.
What makes this Townhome unique
This is the perfect place to be in central Austin. Our vacation home is right on the west edge of the downtown core, just outside the historic Clarksville neighborhood. There is hike and bike trail access just around the corner, which is a fun way to explore around town. And if you want to go for a night on the town, the cab fare home is about $6. The list of conveniences is endless, but we love it that Austin Java is right across the street, not only for coffee, but they also have great food for breakfast, lunch and casual dinner. Plus, you can walk to Whole Foods, Waterloos Records where they sometimes have live music in the parking lot, Book People, and the Capitol.

Perfect duplex for our 6-8 person group for our annual foray to Austin. Sleeps a bunch, plenty of bathrooms, stocked kitchens and all in a central location close to almost everything.

This home was the perfect size for my lady friends to stay for a girls weekend in Austin. It was close to all the great shops and restaurants in downtown Austin and a short drive from the airport and other locations further afield. The house was not too big and not too small. Each of us had plenty of space to relax, sleep, and hang out with each other. It was a wonderful place to stay!
Judy was a gracious host! The space was perfect for our needs and close to the places we needed to be.

Loved this property! It was clean, well kept and had a lovely contemporary decor. There were no surprises that were off-putting. We had two adult couples and there was room for everyone to have their privacy when needed with the two master sleeping arrangements and also room to watch tv together in the living area. The deck was a nice addition as the guys loved to hang out with their cigars! The proximity to downtown and the short rides were a definite plus to the whole experience. Liked that we could also walk to a couple local hot spots for drinks, eats and sports tv. The owner couldn't have been nicer to deal with. I give our visit to this Austin property an A+!
Perfect Location for our Austin visit.
This was a very nice place with everything we needed. No extras, but all of the basic things we needed were there. It was clean and neat, in a great neighborhood close to downtown or the University. It was quiet and pleasant. Judy was helpful and available to help us out with the small issues that came up during our stay.
Very well located
This is a small quiet townhouse in a good location within reasonable walking distance of Austin's 6th St and Guadalupe St restaurants and amenities and the University of Texas campus. Our 5-day stay was pleasant and uneventful except for difficulty locking and unlocking front door.
Location is just around the corner from Pease Park with easy access to Austin's hike and bike trail to downtown and Ladybird Lake along Shoal Creek.
