Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Loft, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4-6)
Welcome to our 4-season cabin with a gorgeous view of Kabekona Bay, Leech Lake, MN. Built in 2003, the A-frame style sleeps 4 comfortably and includes a private marina with boat slip and swimming dock. We are 3 miles from Walker and right next to Paul Bunyan and Heartland Trails. Enjoy hiking and biking in the beautiful north woods as well as snowmobiling on the 1,000 miles of groomed trails.
Kabekona Bay is easily accessible to the main lake, yet the bay is usually calm and the water is warm. Great for lake sports. Rentals of jet skis and water toys are available in Walker.
Hunting and fishing are excellent here. DNR considers Leech Lake one of the top walleye producing lakes in the state. Trophy muskie and plentiful pan fish are taken from the lake each year. Located in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest, there is easy access to public hunting.
The city of Walker is 3 miles away, accessible by auto, boat, snowmobile or bike. It is a special place that many fall in love with. There are many excellent restaurants, bars/entertainment, unique-one of kind stores, coffee/ice cream shops, bait and water rental spots. A spacious city park and beach are in the heart of the town. Walker is a place you will want to visit again.
We hope you will visit our cozy cabin on the bay, smell the pine trees, enjoy the abundant birds and wildlife, catch lots of fish, explore the nearby trails, relax with a beverage on the deck, and take in all this area has to offer.

Leech Lake Cabin
The cabin was awesome! The owner was very friendly and offered if we needed anything to let him know. We will definitely stay there again!
Awesome stay for snowmobiles.
Perfect location for snowmobilers. Access to the trail right across the street. We had an awesome time.
It was ok the place was not clean at all.
Second time we stayed here great place and location. However this time the place was not clean. Maybe because its off season but really no excuse to what we found. Owner is a great guy and easy to work with.
Convenient, cheery, just what we’d hoped for...
The cabin was better than expected for room, amenities, and hominess. The furnishings and decor were utilitarian, but very comfortable and absolutely everything we needed for a fun stay. We had an electrical system question, but communicated with the owner and he had an on-call electrician there very shortly to check it out. We could not have been more pleased for value and comfort!
So this is my second VRBO/HomeAway stay and I have to say it was amazing. Just what was expected a clean, quiet, spacious beautiful cabin and amazing time. Greg was quick to respond when we hadn't received access process and got in just fine. The place had all we need and access to the lake was great and easy to get to. I love this spot and can't wait to try it out in the summer.
The cabin was very clean and stocked with all the essential kitchen ware. We were a little disappointed it wasn't on the water as the pictures depicted. We arrived Thursday evening and Friday mid morning we had no water. The cabin next door, also owned by Greg, had a busted water line in the crawl space. We contacted Greg; he was unable to obtain a plumber to fix the problem. My husband was able to make the repairs and we were reimbursed for our out of pocket expenses, and a small amount for our inconvenience and 5.5 hours of repair time. Overall I would recommend the cabin to others. It was very cozy and relaxing.
