Relax And Enjoy Beautiful Views On Manasota Key - Built In 2014 & Hc Accessible
About David Yildiz
I live in Berlin Massachusetts with my wife and 3 children, and we try to make it down to Manasota Key whenever we can. I grew up in New England but I will retire on Manasota Key!
David Yildiz purchased this House in 2014
Why David Yildiz chose Englewood
This home is a 5 minute walk to Stumps Pass which is the real treasure on Manasota Key. It is a mile of undisturbed beach along the Gulf of Mexico where seashells and shark teeth wash up. The beach stays secluded due to the very limited parking, a huge plus if you live here. A hiking trail passes through five distinct natural communities in Stumps Pass Park that provide homes for many species of wildlife. There are covered picnic tables located along the trail and you have access to both the Gulf and Bay sides at certain points along the way. Wildlife consists of manatees, gopher tortoises, ospreys, snowy egrets, terns, and magnificent frigate birds. Take advantage of the Ranger-led nature hikes that are available in the winter.
What makes this House unique
The home has the best views on the island as there is a widows watch that rises 5 stories high where you can see the southern tip of the island as well as Lemon Bay. You are steps from the beach, and only a 5 minute walk to Stumps Pass State Park. The house was designed to be handicapped accessible with an elevator and a wheelchair friendly master shower. We provide free use of bikes, kayaks, and stand up paddleboards as well as beach gear like coolers, towels, toys, and chairs. The home offers high end appliances and a fully equipped kitchen.

Great Space for Family Gathering
We were visiting FL for a 90th Birthday Celebration with extended family and we were able to stay together to enjoy some quality family time. The house was very clean and well maintained. The fact that linens were included was a great cost savings and meant we didn't need to pack beach towels in our luggage! There were beach chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, bikes, and more available for us to use. I will say out of the 6 bikes at the house only 2 were usable and some of the beach gear had seen better days. However, having any of this available to us was better than nothing! The landscaping was overgrown and messy looking, but that is the only negative thing I can say about the property.
David, the owner couldn't have been more accommodating. He called the day before our arrival to make sure we had all the information we needed, and then provided a cell phone number so we could contact him for any reason. Check-in and check-out were a breeze.
The location of the house was perfect. It provided great views of the Gulf and the beach was a very short walk away. There were restaurants and stores just a quick car ride away which made it easy to stock up on the essentials.
I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a great property for a large group.
Lovely house close to beach and inlet!!
Great house! Clean and comfortable had lots of extras paddle boards and kayaks and toys for the kids!!
Great house. Owner did a great job of making sure we had all the information we needed to have a wonderful vacation.
Great house! Great time!
Our family really enjoyed our stay in this house. We made some great memories and we would stay there again!
Our stay could not have been better. David's attention to detail was key. He has everything you could possibly need available, making it unnecessary for you to haul a lot of thing down to the beach with you. Kayaks, bicycles, coolers, umbrellas, chairs, all provided. Well stocked kitchen, as well as towels and linens.
The space is more than accommodating for large groups. Everyone had there own space. The rooms were all clean. We swam with manatees on three occasions, twice, right on the beach in front of the house. The local area offers peace and quiet, without sacrificing on activities. We spent a lot of our time on the beach, but also were able to kayak for several hours in Lemon Bay; Fish at Stump Pass, and we event rented a deck boat and cruised around Boca Grande on our last day. I whole hardheartedly recommend this rental.
Major shopping and grocery stores are 5 minutes away, just over the bridge, and downtown Englewood is 8 minutes, with Venice being 25 minutes away.
The home is 90 minutes from Tampa and Tampa International Airport, and major professional sports teams including the Bucs (football), Rays(Baseball) and Lightning(Hockey).
It is ideally situated for spring training baseball games being only 20 minutes from the Charlotte Sports Park where the Tampa Bay Rays play home games.
The home is 2 hours from Disney World and all the major Orlando attractions.
Nearby (less than 30 minutes), are 12+ golf courses of varying difficulty that will challenge golfers of nearly any level; Most courses are public, but there are some semi- private courses as well with availability from Nov to April.
The boating is fantastic on Lemon Bay and Stump Pass as well as on the Gulf, and you have the use of our 3 kayaks and 2 standup paddleboards and there are power boats and jet skies available on the Island to rent by the hour or the day. There are many islands with secluded beaches and sandbars in the area to explore in Lemon Bay.
