Tucked within minutes of downtown Austin’s major attractions, our 2BR, 2.5BA apartment (sleeps 4) offers the perfect blend of walkability and tranquility. Walk to restaurants, galleries and bars, then come home and relax on three decks shaded by oak trees.

INSIDE THE APARTMENT
Enter into an open concept gathering space with hardwood floors, where a living area that seats 5 on leather couches and chairs around a flat-screen TV with surround sound and DVD player. Flip on the gas fireplace and cozy in after a day of exploring.
The fully equipped kitchen is located just off the living area and is furnished with Bosch appliances (including a microwave, oven and dishwasher), granite counter tops and cooking utensils.
Serve meals at a high-top table for 4, tucked between the living area and kitchen. A half-bath is also located on this level for your convenience.
When the sun’s shining, step out onto the deck to enjoy a cup of coffee or conversation in the shade of the oak trees.
Upstairs, two spacious bedrooms are full of natural light and furnished come with fine linens and hypo-allergenic 100% silk duvets, plus HDTV’s and iPod docking systems for your complete comfort.
Rest up in the master bedroom, featuring a king-size bed and a private balcony with loungers for two to soak in the sun. Refresh in a standing shower in the en-suite bath. The second bedroom has two twin beds, which can be pushed together to make a king-size bed, and also has an en-suite bath with standing shower plus a private balcony.
When it comes to walkability, our location can’t be beat. Our apartment is just a block from mouthwatering food at 24 Diner and Z Tejas, and sweet treats at Amy Ice Cream. We’re also a block from Whole Foods to grab ingredients for meals at home, Starbucks for your morning coffee fix and Waterloo Records – stop by to check out an intimate in-store performance.
It’s a 15-minute drive to Lady Bird Lake, where you can explore via the hike and bike trails or rent a stand-up paddleboard or kayak to see the city of Austin from a whole new point of view.

The place was perfect. The location the size everything was great. Getting up the steps with our suitcases but we did it. A coffee shop really close and Whole Foods two blocks away.
Had a great stay at this condo! Everything was clean when we arrived and had everything that we needed. It would be nice to know beforehand that the owners request no shoes in the unit (we don't mind at all and actually prefer it but would have liked to know beforehand). Definitely recommend!
We stayed her for 2 weeks and had everything we needed in the kitchen. I had read previous reviews and brought seasonings with us to have during our extended stay. The place was was spotless when we arrived, check-in was quick and easy. It was quiet, spacious and walking distance to everywhere downtown!
Pros: Spotless and spacious condo with unbeatable location. We would stay here again for those reasons alone. We were in town for daughter's graduation from UT and made a 5 day weekend of the trip. The condo made a very comfortable and convenient spot for all of us to gather. Walking distance to great restaurants, Whole Foods and easy access to best of west side and campus. Easy parking and quiet but friendly neighbors. Numerous tasteful updates. Cons: More thoughtful updates should include quality plush mattresses (such as those found in a quality hotel )for pricey rates were expected and are strongly suggested to owner. Plus, add a cookie sheet or basic oven pan. Great appliances and kitchen updates but not really equipped for a anyone that intends to cook the most basic dish, common for a guest that doesn't want to eat out every single meal. Missing wheels on lower dishwasher rack also made loading the dishwasher a hassle. I would also suggest including instructions for laundry process, including where to put detergent.
Four of us stayed in this two bedroom condo in downtown Austin for a week and had a great time. We ate out every night at a different restaurant and had a ball. Condo is within walking distance to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's but we suggest taking a car if you are buying more than one bag of groceries. We would';t suggest cooking for yourselves because the kitchen is empty except for plates, glasses and utensils. Most VRBO units we have stayed in are usually well-stocked with kitchen supplies like spices, etc, but Turnkey's policy (so they said) is to leave a bare kitchen. Everything else about the place was great. We had a problem with the front door not locking properly but we called and someone came right over to fix it. This unit os on the second floor up a narrow outside staircase. Not very good for anyone with a disability because there is no elevator (at least we couldn't find one).
We recommend this rental unless you want to cook for yourself, but with so many great restaurants in Austin, why would you?
Terrific downtown condo, walking distance from clubs, galleries and shopping. Quiet and bright inside, lovely decor, comfortable beds and clean as a whistle. We will be back!
