We had a great trip. The villa layout was terrific for a larger group. It was well furnished, and the location (proximity to Tamarindo) was ideal. Not right in the noisy area, but a walk away from all the action and the great restaurants in town and on the beach. Staff were great, and the buffet breakfasts were awesome! I'd stay again (and plan to do so) in a heartbeat.
Thanks for all of the help booking and organizing the villa. We had an amazing stay. Don Vito was a perfect place to relax after hiking, surfing, or exploring the Tamarindo area. Patrick was helpful and clear, and gave us plenty of recommendations on places to see and things to do in Tamarindo.
Wonderful service in a perfectly equipped villa which is dramatically decorated. The staff took wonderful care of us, and it was comfortable and spacious enough for a three generation family to be together or hanging out separately.. Great pool. If you are looking for a villa close in to the action in town but set in its own quiet walled enclave, this is it.
The villa is great as well as Tamarindo. The vacation was exactly what we all needed - laid back atmosphere and some sun. Patrick and Luca (owners) were very good and helped us out with anything needed. The only downside was if the wind blew too hard you would sometimes lose power in the villa/the hot water was out. No big deal to us but just a heads up.
The staff was great, very helpful. The house wasn't quite what I was expecting. I didn't like the fact that all the bedrooms opened up to the living room and that there were no windows to the outside in the bedrooms. The dining facility was perfect for our family, its just how the place was played out. Also I was advised that Tamarindo was going to be crowded but never expected traffic jams and difficulty getting from one place to the next. The town was quite raucous and at times seemed to be a little dangerous.
We were a group of 15 celebrating my husband's 50th birthday. The accommodations were perfect for us. The staff did a great job and Patrick was helpful and there when you needed him for anything. It was not a long walk to town, but opted to drive for the most part because it's uphill on the way back. I really can't complain about anything. This was one of the best trips we have taken and we take a lot. And the pool area is spectacular. Highly recommend.
