Gorgeous Casita! Beautiful view and great location

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at this property for six days with my family (8 people) and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Management (Emelia & Paul) was outstanding and always willing to help make our stay wonderful. I would recommend this property to anyone heading to Tucson. Thank you for making our trip wonderful.

This place was perfect for our family. The beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious enough for all of us. The kitchen was really well equipped, and we enjoyed the pool.

We loved it! Only a couple little incidents.

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed the stay and the Casita was so nice. The owners were awesome and so accommodating. I had asked if there was a waffle maker prior to my trip and they made sure they placed one on the counter for us when we arrived. :) Also, the bbq was out of gas and Paul came immediately and unhooked the old one and hooked up the full one in less than 20 mins with barely disturbing us at all. He was very nice too. :) The only issues we had were we found a dead smashed baby scorpion in the kitchen, looked freshly stepped on by one of us. Then the next night my elderly mom came and stayed for a night and she went to the restroom to get ready for bed and told me there was another dead baby scorpion in the bathroom. I went in there with a paper towel to pick it up and throw it out and it was alive and stuck its tail up! I sprayed it with bug spray and it did nothing to it. I had to get it out of the corner and stomp it to death then flush it. So scary since the tiny ones are the most poisonous! We put a towel by the bottom of the front door just in case they were coming in through there? There was also a slight problem with the kitchen disposal. When we first used it it was making a lot of noise and I turned it off to feel inside and someone (previous guest or cleaning crew) had left, what looked like the remains of a measuring spoon in there? It didn't want to work after that so, we just didn't use it (it probably only needed to be reset). Besides that our stay was awesome and the wildlife was so amazing. We saw Javelina that came right up to the window and looked in at us! We saw a roadrunner and at night my boyfriend said he saw a desert fox! There were hawks and we saw a rattlesnake in the road of the resort entrance off of Starr Pass! Thank you, Paul and Emelia! 5 stars just because you both were so amazing and nice!

Great place near Marriott and Tucson!

  • 5 of 5

Clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything you need to cook/grill. Stocked with plenty of condiments, spices and even cooking oils. AC kept it cool even in record temperatures for June (over 110 deg F). The pool is great and stayed cool even in the heat; mainly busy in the evening. Shuttle to Marriott is convenient, but only on request, so sometimes there is a short wait. Large bathrooms (one has tub and separate shower). Cable in living and bedrooms, and internet was great, too. It was an awesome value!
