Absolutely wonderful

  • 5 of 5

This condo had everything we needed for our Memorial Day weekend getaway. It was exactly what we were expecting from the description and then some. The condo was clean, had a beautiful well-kept kitchen and the outside patio/grill area was a great space to hang out with friends. Everything down to beach towels and umbrellas were provided for us. The manager was very responsive and helpful as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Condo and Comfortable Stay

  • 5 of 5

The owner is very responsive, friendly and helpful. It was a beautiful condo with comfortable bedrooms, clean bathroom, and every utility you can think of, including coffee pot (and coffee!) and all sorts of pans and plates. The location is extremely convenient, with only 10min walk to downtown P-town with all kinds of restaurants, galleries and attractions. Very nice and affordable! We enjoyed our short vacation and will definitely come back if we are staying at P-town again!

Beautiful unit, perfect stay

  • 5 of 5

Four of us (two couples) just finished a stay here and couldn't have been happier with everything. Beautiful new unit in a quiet spot off Bradford street that's an easy 10min walk to the heart of Commercial street.

The unit is new and very well equipped for a rental home. Clean, high end appliances, nice touches like Tempur-Pedic beds in both rooms (no cheap imitations), a wonderfully relaxing steam shower, even central music with volume controls in each room (CD player is in the front closet, though I couldn't figure out how to connect my iPhone.) Every dish, utensil, and other odd item we had a need for during our stay seemed to have been thought of, from beach towels and an iron down to a pair of scissors (?!). It was like returning to a sanctuary after a long day at the beach.

The deck was great - we ate outside quite a bit - and made good use of the grill. The workspace in the master bedroom was also a great corner if you need a space to focus for a bit.

We didn't experience any of the issues the previous reviewer had. Everything was exceptionally clean when we arrived... floors, linens, towels, etc. We *were* told by the caretaker, Priscilla, that the A/C had just been serviced when we arrived... it was reliably ice cold for us during our entire stay... she told us to let her know if we had any issues at all. (The owner also emailed me to see how things were going / ask if the AC was working well a day into our stay, which I appreciated.)

This is high on my list of Provincetown accommodations. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Don't be fooled

  • 1 of 5

Have you noticed there are only a few old reviews. The plus is this is a beautiful condo and close to everything. The footprint is great. The negative is we arrived at approximately 11pm last night. The sheets were dirty, food in the fridge from someone else. A bottle of ginger ale that had been expired since 11/13. Old dried coffee grounds in coffee pot. Carpet not cleaned, floors and rugs are disgustingly filthy. AC does not work and it is 82 in here tonight, very uncomfortable. The cable tv does not work. We notified the landlord 2 times about the air and no response. We chose this place over a place that was half this price because the parking was provided here, the other place had the landlord next door so if there had been an issue it could have been fixed. I sent pictures to the landlord and can provide proof if needed. Cleanliness is a huge issue here. Not sure either where the stereo and filtered water are also. We are here for our wedding and are hugely disappointed with this place. We don't get to spend our wedding and honeymoon in comfort. Our advice, pass this place up and do your self a favor. We have to spend another 5 days here.

Owner's Response: This review needs to be put into context. Contrary to the renter's claim, the condo had been cleaned prior to the renter's arrival. The renter's first impulse was to heavily criticize the landlord rather than make a reasonable telephone call indicating that they felt there was a problem. The items "left behind" in the refrigerator and kitchen cabinet were condiments for guests to use. The AC broke down because the renter turned the thermostat down too low when it was not hot outside and the unit froze leaving it unable to cool when the weather turned hot. The landlord had a repairman make two service calls, but the renters refused to cooperate by allowing the repairman access to the condo. It did turn out that there was a problem with the cable which has since been repaired. The final complaint from tenants came on the last day as they were leaving. They called the local police department to have an officer come to the condo to report that the condo's parking space was too narrow. It was hard for the officer to believe that they had done that, but those of us who had tried to please the renters all week were not surprised for it only seemed to confirm the complete unreasonableness of the renters and their extreme negativity.

Fantastic getaway!

Love this 800+ sq. foot getaway. All the amenities you need. Close walking distance to everything. Friendly owner (easy to deal with). Just a wonderful place to get away from it all.

Hidden gem of a property!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic weekend in this condo over Labour day weekend. It was a really busy time of year and what was lovely about the condo's location was that we were near all the hustle and bustle yet could easily escape to the quietness this apartment had to offer. It is set slightly far back from the road and the decking looks out on a wooded area. Great BBQ! The property itself was clean and had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and accommodating and we would absolutely recommend it to friends and family. The outside decking is quite shaded but we spent every day at the beach anyway!

Recommended activities - We hired bikes and cycled down to Truro for the wine tasting and then carried on the Truro's seafood market to buy fresh lobster. A thing to note - there isnt anywhere in Provincetown itself where you can buy fresh, local seafood. Quite strange for its location! We also cycled around the sand dunes behind the house which was really fun. There are new bikes paths weaving from beach to beach so very accessible. Karoo Cafe is a fun, relaxed and tasty option for dinner! Enjoy!
