Stayed here with my family to celebrate Christmas. The only problem we had was limited hot water. If the dish washer is running, the showers are cold. Otherwise there were no complaints. The owner was fine to work with. She had the house decorated for Christmas, which was a very nice touch. The house is well maintained and close to shopping and restaurants (try Mojito's). Beds are comfy, WiFi and cable are reliable, kitchen is clean and stocked with necessary pots, pans, coffee maker, etc.
A short trip from the airport and we arrived at this spacious well put together house in a nice neighborhood. We were very comfortable, a true home away from home. We found stores and restaurants within walking distance.
Next year we will try to book for the derby.... It seems like it would be a good location for Churchill downs its on my bucket list :)
Nine of us shared the house over a long weekend and loved it. The kitchen has everything needed to cook for a crowd. We were all able to sit around the table to share meals and there was room for everyone to have their own space. It was minutes off the interstate and close to shopping and good neighborhood restaurants. A great place to use as a "base" for a group! Owner was very nice & accommodating!
Great house, the pictures do not do it justice! This a very large home that easily sleeps 11! The kitchen is very accommodating, the house has a living room and family room. The beds are comfy, one squeaked a lot but I got used to it, the rooms are decorated very nicely and have fresh linens and towels. The owners are very nice and work with you in all the ways that they can. The check in and check out times are that of a hotel, just so you know up front. The house is located very close to all destinations and the street is quiet.
Kirsten was great to work with.
Derby weekend was a last minute "bucket list" and with the tight supply of houses at this time, this house really fit the bill.
Nicely updated older home in fantastic area. Easy to get to, nice area to go quite walks on tree lined streets. Krogers and several very good restaurants and a liquor store a 5 minute walk from the front door.
Our bucket list friends had the time of their lives. Kristen left some nice welcome gifts.
It is a great place for 2 or 3 couples. A car is a must, no taxis in the residential area at all.
We stayed in this home in August 2012 for a week. We were in town for a youth convention downtown and had a group of several adults and teenagers. The house was beautiful and extremely convenient to everywhere we need to go. This home has a definite "old world" charm. I would recommend it to anyone.
