Come and stay at our newly renovated condo and walk to EVERYTHING!!

It has been beautifully redone with hardwood floors, granite slab countertops, and brand new bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, utensils, and dishes if you would like to relax and eat in. While relaxing enjoy some entertainment on the 42' LCD flat screen.

When the slopes are beckoning you walk two minutes to the gondola on Peak 8 or take the free summit stage bus to Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, or Copper Mountain that is located across the street at the Transit center. There are also buses available to take you to other towns such as Silverthorne, Dillon, and Frisco.

This summer was very exciting as we enjoyed watching the Pro Challenge bike race finish right in front of our condo!

No smoking or pets please.

Excellent Trip!

We had a most excellent time. The location of this condo is awesome, less than a block walk to the Gondola and the Express 1 shuttle from/to DIA! The condo is well kept and clean with great views of the mountain! Many restaurants, shops and markets are also conveniently close by. This condo would comfortably sleep 2-3 adult singles or 1-2 couples with having 1 queen bed, 1 queen sofa pull-out, and a cot.

Condo was fine EXCEPT very poor comms and unserviced when we arrived!

We where able to get into the apartment at night after failing to receive email details ( booked 3 weeks in advance) but unfortunately we found it unserviced and uncleaned. Trash bags, wet towels, unmade bed etc. We found fresh sheets and had to make the bed up. The wet towels and used sheets are still in the apartment to be picked up when we left 3 days later. I had to find the trash garage late at night after attempting to clean the apartment and make the beds ourselves. To say I am disappointed is an understatement and am pretty disappointed at my first try at VRBO. I have a photo log of arrival. The apartment was fine but the condition we found it was not good and we should get the cleaning fee refunded!!

I expect to be compensated for this mess and hope further travellers to this apartment find it in better condition!

Perfect location & cozy condo!

We had an amazing time staying at this condo. It overlooks the Main Street of Breckenridge and a beautiful view of the mountains. Walk right downstairs and you are in downtown Breck. Can't beat the location. The condo itself was very clean & accomodating. Will be staying here again for sure!

The condo was clean, nicely updated and the location was excellent. Gondola to Peak 8 is right across the street. Good communication from the owners and deposit was returned promptly. Would defiantly stay here again!

Location Location Location

Just returned from CO after a 4 night stay at Edelweiss. Location is awesome! Great access to all of Main Street in downtown Breck. 1 block from the gondola. Unit is small, slept three of us comfortably, and appears to have been updated lately. Wireless would be nice, but not a huge issue for us. We hope to return next winter!

BEWARE! "Refundable" damage deposit may be kept! Loud, smoking neighbors! Street noise!

Our refundable deposit was partially withheld by the owner and here's why. Owner says that we trashed the place by leaving dishes in the sink and trash everywhere and that it took her cleaning service 3X the regular cleaning time thereby justifying withholding our deposit. What actually happened is that we did not remove the trash from the bins and we left all dirty dishes in the sink. The problem with all this is that the owner did not specify that we were expected to clean dishes used and take out the trash. I feel it is unreasonable to expect a guest to basically clean the place before leaving as a cleaning fee is already (or should be) included in the agreed price and that the deposit is for "damage" of which there was none at all. When you go to a hotel suite, do you remember to clean any dishes used and take out the trash before you leave? I don't think so...

In addition to all of this, the downstairs neighbor was blaring dance music all day to the point where it was vibrating the walls and was obviously smoking marijuana a lot (yes I'm aware this is legal in Colorado but not something I want to expose my kids to anyways) because the smell was wafting through the place constantly.

So, if you are renting this place please know that it is expected of you to wash all your dishes and take out all your trash from the bins. You may also get the added bonus of loud dance music and the dank smell of weed if that's your thing. Otherwise, you will only get some of your "damage" deposit back and a nasty-gram from the owner. Lastly, although not the fault of the owners but needing to be mentioned, the street noise from snow removal operations was very loud in the place and kept us up later than we wanted to be.

My advice is to look elsewhere as there are similar places with much clearer instructions to the renter that are probably quieter.

Owner's Response: I am sorry this just didn't work out. We were notified by our cleaner that the condo was left in a state that it took her three times the amount of time it normally takes for her to clean our condo. She had to charge me extra for her time. She stated every dish we own was dirty and trash was left through out the condo so it doesn't sound like it was just a couple of dishes and the trash wasn't taken out. We have been renting our condo for 5 years and this is our first negative review. Again, this is the first time we have ever had to charge someone for additional cleaning fees.
