About Owner/Property Manager

First Tracts Real Estate and Rentals rose from simple beginnings, and has become a premier real estate business at Snowshoe Mountain Resort. Alumni of WVU, co-owners Peter Monico and Dave Simmons, with degrees in business/communications and business, worked for Playground Destination Properties, and gained knowledge and wisdom in the real estate market in our region. With three years under their belt, Pete and Dave branched out and created their own real estate business on the mountain.

In April of 2007, First Tracts was formed. Two years later we began the popular Rental Management division of the company, managing just a small handful of homes.

Today First Tracts manages over a hundred homes in a variety of sizes and neighborhoods, both on and near the mountain. With a dedication to exemplary guest service, First Tracts Real Estate and Rentals has become the best source of upscale vacation rentals at Snowshoe.

Perfect for families and a great view of the slopes for kid lessons

We had a party of nine. Four adults and five kids. Perfect location, perfect for kids in lessons, perfect to get to restaurants. The condo is much more modern than other units we have rented. We loved the kid room, which our boys called the man cave. Bathrooms were updated and there was ample storage for our clothes. New TVs and perfectly working wifi were very appreciated. Kitchen had a ton of dishes and cooking/baking utensils and bakeware. We are hoping to book again next year. Wonderful stay and wonderful owners. Only wish we could have paid with a credit card - that's our only ask!
