About Elsie

I am 43 years old, polite, thoughtful, entrepreneur, workaholic, love gardening, de-stressing by the beach. My biggest passion is buying and renovating old homes as well as building new beautiful Spanish style homes in Baja.

Elsie purchased this house in 2004

Why Elsie chose Baja California Norte

I fell in love with La Mision from day one. This community has the most picturesque views of all the communities along the northern Baja coast. Being in La Mision melts away all my stress from city living.

What makes this house unique

Its a beautiful, safe, community that is surrounded in an authentic nature setting, the full time residents are wonderful, and our dogs love the daily walks at the beach or through the estuary/river. We love the peacefulness yet closeness to all types of fun activities and fine dinning.

You won't be disappointed

This home has probably one of the best views in the entire community of homes.

It looks just like the pictures- this home is a short walk to the beach, close driving distance

to dining, The Valley de Guadalupe for wine & craft beer tasting, Ensenada & Rosarito.

Plenty to do if you want to be active or just relax... we'll for sure rent this charming home again.

Words cannot explain this house!!! The pictures do the house no justice. This house is super nice, super clean and super organized. The owner and manager are great, the view is AMAZING short walk to the beach and plenty of room plus 2 bathrooms. My familys experience here was one to remember. I would highly recommend this house to a family or a couple. Super romantic and very cozy. Comfortable as well. Security at the gate nuce neighbors.

Love Baja

  • 5 of 5

The stay in this house has been one of the best choices I have ever made. It was relaxing, fun and just a really great house to be in. I really didn't want to leave, I felt like I could live their for a long time. The house itself is perfect, its really spacious, really nicely decorated, the view it has is breathtaking and it really makes you feel like your on vacation. The pictures don't really demonstrate the actual greatness of the house you have to be their to see it. It is really great and I recommend it.

So Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

I have been going down to Rosarito area for at least 6 years, at least 2-3 times a year. I have rented a different house every time but have never rented the same one twice. I would rent this house again. Everything is just like in the pictures but better. The house was very comfortable. It had everything that you could need. I was there for 3 weeks in October and there was great weather and sunsets. Even when it rained a couple of days, there was the fireplace. The property manager, MexicoMike, was great. He has all the info you could ever need and is readily available. Thanks for a great 3 weeks Elsa.

Owner's Response: I am very pleased that it met all your needs. I try very hard to anticipate all your needs. Two weeks ago I came down to update/redecorate the entire house with new pillows, rugs, towels, and super comfy-warm comforters. So it is now even better than when you saw it last. Thank you and hope to have you back again in the future. Elsa

A wonderful weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful house with fantastic ocean, river and mountain views! House was very clean and comfortable, with a pleasant interior design/open floorplan. A short walk/ride to the beach. The beach is beautiful. The owner is easy to deal with, and our local care taker - Mike - was very helpful and lived in the area for 15 years so he was a great source of local info. My son and I had a great vacation and we will be back.

Best surfing in the area was K-58. Best restaurant for price and quality was actually the one that looks over K-58 beach - its the restaurant that is tied to the hotel. Awesome Ultralight flight rides (around $30 for 15 min) right on the beach. On the way back to the border we stopped at Calafia - unfortunately the old restaurant was closed up (went out of business 3 yrs ago); however, part of the the old restaurant was purchased by Al and his partner. We met Al and his young son and found them both to be very pleasant hosts. The food there was delicious and the jazz awesome. The view takes your breath away.

I rented the 2 units for a family of 12 and everybody enjoyed the stay. The internet speed is very good and general condition of house is aceptable. The beach is very close and there is a lot of space to use bikes. My mother used her wheelchair all around first unit.
