Our Cozy furnished 900 sq ft 2 story condo is nestled in a gated, home owner, community just minutes from the Galleria. It features a balcony upstairs and a lovely patio downstairs. The large upstairs bedroom has a pillow top king size bed a TV and 2 large closets! The condo feels like home with a full kitchen with granite counter tops and all recent appliances. The living, dining, 1/2 bath, stackable washer/dryer and a tv on the wall above the fireplace is downstairs. There are 2 on-sight swimming pools for the summer months starting mid April and going through October. There is AT&T wireless internet service in the condo as well. I promise you will love your stay with us!!

worked great for us

Very clean, no problems with check in, check out, or any issues while we there. Easy walk to bus stop. My son and I stayed for the Final Four...our team didn't win, but don't feel like there's alot they could have done to improve that!!

Would stay again!

Good stay for single person or couple

Owners are very welcoming and responsive - there was a small property problem and they called us en route to give us a heads up; were very apologetic; and fixed it ASAP (not a big deal for us but we appreciated the attention). Property is very clean and secure in a gated community (we appreciated this as we're not familiar with the neighbourhood).

Pictures, while accurate, led us to think that the property is a bit bigger than "actual size." This was not a problem for us, but the unit is really only suitable for a single person or couple; third in a squeeze (there is a futon but rather inconveniently placed). The master bedroom and storage are, however, huge.

Overall, this was a lovely refuge from Houston's traffic! Thanks again.

Owner's Response: Hello my wonderful guests! I am so glad that you were able to escape the northern cold, frosty weather! I thank you for your comments and will consider moving the futon. I have had families with children or even 3-4 adults that seemed to be happy with the convenience of a futon bed at night and a couch by day. Especially since we now have a 48" screen HD TV over the fireplace, The two couches make it very cozy! Thanks again for posting this review! We always love to hear from our guests! Happy New Year! Worked out very well for us!

It was ideal place for three of us. Very convenient location: close to MD Anderson Center, 15 mins drive without traffic; close to Whole Foods. Cannot say anything about the restaurants near by because we dined at the places in MD Anderson Center area.

Very clean, very nice place.

Stacy Is very nice, welcoming lady. It was very easy to communicate with her. Stacy had responded promptly to all our questions before, during, and after our stay at this condo.

Visiting Houston to see the Grand Babies.....

We rented this one bedroom condo, my wife and I, for a four day visit to Houston to spend some quality time with our daughter, son-in-law and two grand children who live in Sugarland. We arrived later then we expected due to the wonderful Houston traffic from Bush International Airport and e-mailed the owner to be sure that was OK. No response. However, we were able to gain access into the community with no problems as we arrived. The condo was clean but still has a lot of 70's fixtures that should be updated. But again clean. We did not cook any meals and only used the micro for warming left overs from dinners we enjoyed as well as the refrigerator during our visit. Kitchen was updated with Kenmore basic appliances which was nice. Community is located in a very blue collar warehouse district of southern Houston, so be sure you don't have any issues with that. We didn't as this is a gated community. Pool was used one day to teach the grand kids how to swim. Ok, dog paddle... It was well maintained and clean as well. The only issue with this stay was the lack of direct communication with the owner. There is little to no information available on VBRO site as to closest dining, grocery store, gas stations, etc. Just the generic stuff from Google. Communication could definitely be improved as there was no direct contact with the owner after the booking. Suggestion: Talk to your future guests to see what their plans are during their stay and offer suggestions. Have a comment book with place to see and recommendations for local diners and attractions. We are also a VRBO owner, I we to interact with our guests as much as they want so they feel safe, secure and welcomed into my home. That's what make the stay more enticing and rewarding for both the guest and the owner.

I love suggestions and as a fellow VRBO owner I am sure you were trying to help me with suggestions that you have implemented in your vacation rental.....Thank you! I do hope to post an answer that reflects the true beauty of this condo to my future guests. One thing that you mentioned is that you had e-mailed me the day you were due to arrive in and you said you did not get an answer, however, I did send you an e-mail early that day stating that the condo was ready even earlier than the check-in instructions specify which is 4:00pm.....I am so glad that you did not have any problems getting into the condo. I tried to be very thorough in the check-in instructions. As far as getting with me on the day you were due to arrive if you would have sent a text or called me I promise you would have received a quick response, especially on the day you were due to arrive. I was reading your review and wondering what 70's fixtures you might have been referring to? These condos were built in the mid 80's.....Upstairs in the master bath there are new light fixtures, stainless steel, and a new vanity and undermount sink....The only area I have not updated is the 1/2 bath downstairs and possibly the light over the entryway. I personally like the fluorescent light in the kitchen and the ceiling fan in the dining room is fairly new. As far as the decor goes I have tried to do a beach theme with a bit of a jungle feel, don't know if that was pleasing to you or not? Finally, "blue collar", well I am not sure what you were trying to imply with that comment, however, we do not have zoning in Houston so pretty much of anything can be built next to anything else. This is not a "warehouse district". The warehouse looking brick building right across from the condos is actually a church also the Baptist church is down on the corner of Richmond and Jeanetta...There are other warehouses on the street and a vacant 5 acres next to the condo complex, however, I have always liked this location because it is not finished out and there isn't a huge amount of traffic so it is very quiet and close in but a bit off the beaten path. I love your suggestion about the grocery stores, restraints etc... I do have a lot of Houston literature in the condo on the shelves I could sort through and lay it out on the table so that folks are sure to see it. Thanks again! I love to talk to my guests! I try and always answer my phone!

Very clean and tasteful

Thank you Stacy, it was a very nice stay at your condo. The house was very clean and well equipped. We have been 2 adults and one 7 years old boy. Stacy offered us 2 extra beds, the main bed was very comfortable.

The condo is located in a gated community, we felt very safe and the neighbors are very quiet. Everything is very near, IKEA 15 minutes, the wonderful shopping mall "the Galleria" just 10 minutes away. The Internet connection is pretty fast, if you need it for work = excellent ! We had a perfect stay in Houston.

Herman Park has a mini reflection pool, a pond with paddle boats, a zoo, an amphitheater, walking trails, picnic areas, kiddie train rides, The Natural Museum of Science includes a butterfly exhibit, theme based exhibits...Egypt etc..and more....The Aqurium downtown has an amusement theme park and rides. The theatre district downtown has live theatre, concerts, symphony, ballet etc.... The downtown area has horse drawn carriage rides in the evenings and plenty of dining. The racetrack on the Belltway 8 has horse racing, dog racing, concerts, circus, and more.....

SUPERBOWL 2016, HOUSTON NIGHTLY RATE $700.00 A NIGHTLY RATE FROM JANUARY 31ST TO THE FEBRUARY 7TH, 2016 FOR A TOTAL OF $4,900.00 FOR THE WEEK.

One to 2 nights stay, NON SEASONAL, are $155.00 a night.
One to 2 night stay, SEASONAL, are $165.00
One time cleaning fee for 2 people $65.00, Children Xtra $25.00 cleaning fee. NOTE: The condo can comfortably accommodate 4 guests comprised of two adults and 2 children. There are two twin fold out beds. If you have a fifth guest there will be an additional charge of $25.00 for cleaning and we provide one twin air mattress and extra bedding.

All rates include tax.
International Credit card fee 3.5% of the total.
