We stayed here with our 3 kids and absolutely loved it.snow was everywhere,we were happy to see the driveway was plowed and the walkway to the door was even shoveled before we arrived!(thank you!)when we walked in we felt right at home, wood was placed by the fireplace everything was beyond our expectations.the kids enjoyed sledding down the hill out front and playing in the loft.we didnt want to leave but unfortunately we had to.were definatley going to return here sooo relaxing and peaceful thank you very much!!!
So glad you enjoyed your stay - we would love to have you back!
Quiet quiet quiet
Clean and comfy beds. Quiet street in BLS. Defy want to come back again
Thanks so much! We'd love to have you back!
Peacful and quiet!!
Our stay was wonderful. The cabin has the most relaxing back deck that has a wonderful view of the forest! Loved sitting out there in the morning listening and watching the birds and chipmunks. We brought a "baby" gate that worked perfect to block the stairs so we did not have to worry about our dog taking a stroll on his own. The kitchen had everything but a potato masher. I sure hope someone will have a chance to enjoy the chocolate ice cream I accidently left in the freezer. Another note is that there were no mosquitos!!!! We were thankful to have the air conditioning too as it was a warm weekend. Wonderful, relaxing few days! Thank you!!
Best home and away house ever
We have stayed in many vacation rentals. This was the best equipped house we have stayed in. Made our vacation a very enjoyable stay. Plan to come back sometime in the future.
Great cozy cabin
Our time spent at this cabin was wonderful! It was perfect for what we needed. The loft was bigger than I expected. The AC was great for our summer trip! It was a short drive to Calaveras Big Trees, which was the reason for our trip. Couldn't be happier!
This is a cute cabin. Only a few bad things. The one of the main roads when we got off of hwy 4 out. If we don't have GPS we would have been completely lost. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time, but it may have been a short notice road closure.
We fixed the kitchen light. The cabin had a lot of extra stuff in case things go out, that was nice.
The attic was cute with the three beds. Lots of space. The DVD player was broken, but there is a newer TV and it has a DVD player in the TV. The deck was so nice to be able to hang out and enjoy the quietness of the woods.
This place is perfect to get away from it all. It was so nice to be able to enjoy a cup of coffee and the quiet. And it snowed or last morning there. It was perfect area to play in the snow. The drive way is perfect for a snow sled and there was no traffic. Plus the snow plow came by before we needed to leave that day.
If there is one thing I would change is the dryer. My allergies were fine until I dried the sheets. Not sure if there is an airway to the outside for the dryer. If I new that I would have brought my allergy meds. It was our last morning there, so it didn't effect me that bad.
Over all it was a great stay! Thank you for letting us stay and enjoy the snow. It was the first time my husband and daughter saw snow fall.
