2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, Sleeps 6
Enjoying the patio with some friends Memorial Day weekend, 2010. We bought this house back in 1997 as we loved the time we spent prior to it living in Mission Beach (my husband is a San Diego/Mission Beach native), I am from LA. The opportunity arose to own a house at the beach, so we jumped on it. After living at our house for several years, plans changed as our family expanded so we decided to rent the house out and move to a larger house to raise our two sons, which are now 16 and 14. We love the weekends we are able to spend at the house with our boys, friends and family! We hope you enjoy your stay at our beach house as well, creating your own memories!

Perfect spot for our family trip to San Diego. House was in a great location to access the beach or bay. Lots of beach toys and gear on site which is very helpful. It was nice that the front of the house was on a walkway rather than an alley. It made sitting out by the fire pit at night very enjoyable.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Although We did not take advantage of all the toys-bikes, beach toys, fire pit, it is nice that it is all available. A nano second to the beach and the very walkable boardwalk. We did not cook at the house either but everything is there if you wanted to. Great to have two parking places at the beach if needed. The owners are a quick text away if needed and welcomed us with fresh fruit and flowers. I hope next time we are in SD we can stay here and take advantage of all this cute house has to offer! Thanks for sharing your home!
We had a wonderful time at Dawn’s house in San Diego! There were 5 of us and we fit just fine. Everything was clean and as advertised on VRBO. The best part was being SO close to bay and ocean!! Dawn was very easy to deal with and helpful!
Thanks for a great stay! We loved San Diego!!
Best Place on Mission Bay
Our daughter attends UCSD so we visit often, this is hands down the best place available on Mission Bay. Close to everything, we walked everywhere, 2 minute walk to the ocean or the bay. The house itself is very accommodating, comfortable beds, clean and has everything you could possibly need. The gas fire pit in the evenings was fantastic, also a very quiet area. Dawn was a wonderful host, we will definitely stay here whenever we visit moving forward.
Another Wonderful Vacation
A comfortable, well stocked house steps from the Bay has everything you need for a relaxing vacation.
A well-maintained, well-located house for two couples or a family.
This quaint house is well-equipped for a long-term stay. There were two couples in our party and we found the space quite fine for a comfortable stay. It is well-situated a short walk to the Pacific one direction and Mission Bay in the other. The house is clean and well-maintained. Parking is tight but doable. There was no problem with party-goers in the area; there are a lot of planes flying overhead because you are close to the international commercial airport and several military bases. There are many interesting places to visit and wonderful beach towns as you work your way north on the Pacific Coastal Highway. We golf and had no trouble finding golf courses, the local municipal courses, Riverwalk and Coronado are inexpensive; others, further out are more expensive and more plush. You have your pick. There are a variety of walks on the coastal and bay boardwalks where you can watch crazy people on escooters, ebikes, bikes, skateboards. You can also rent the escooters and ebikes. The house proves regular bikes.
Other Activities: boating, shopping, kayaking, shelling, health/beauty spa, basketball court
