About Nancy and Ryan Soderstrom

About Nancy: As an artist, I find great inspiration for my pottery and designs in the beauty surrounding Colorado Springs. I particularly love the Aspens! Colorado Springs is a city filled with friendly, creative people and we love helping guests make the most of their time here. We welcome the opportunity to help you plan your stay. About Ryan: As a former corporate marketing and communications executive, I now enjoy a combination of consulting, writing, and woodworking. In this eclectic season of life, I’m focused on friends and guests. Whether it’s helping a business grow, making woodcraft, or getting to know our guests and friends, I find there’s always a good story to be told.

Why Nancy and Ryan Soderstrom chose Colorado Springs

This house reminds us of a by-gone era when life was slower and people sat on beautiful porches to sip iced tea. We love the history and charm of this home, and immediately saw the appeal of opening its doors for travelers to enjoy.

What makes this house unique

There is an amazing amount of personality in original wood floors and molding throughout this house. We find it to be a peaceful and relaxing place to be.

Guestbook comments from the manager

On a rainy evening, this was such a cozy, homey place to be! I loved having coffee on the side porch, and sitting on the front porch. Even the neighbors are welcoming! I loved it here! Reminded me of being at my Grandma's house.

Excellent, clean, quiet neighborhood. Beautifully decorated with lots of charm

  • 5 of 5

Our family (6 adults/2 small children found the home to be exactly what we needed for our week long stay. Owners kept in touch which was very nice. We would recommend any of their cottages to friends and family.

Great location

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time. The location is very convenient to everything we wanted to see during our stay. The house is very comfortable and clean. The stairs can be a little challenging. We really enjoyed the outside deck for our morning coffee and in the evenings relaxing.

Comfortable, convenient and charming!

  • 5 of 5

From the welcome bag of goodies to the communication throughout of stay, the owners (Nancy & Ryan) made sure that we had a wonderful experience. This place is well-equipped for whatever you'd like (wifi, netflix, morning coffee/tea, grilling, laundry, extra A/C outlets and toys for kids, games, books and magazines (which we didn't use, but based on guest book comments, others appreciated).

Fantastic home

  • 5 of 5

We spent the weekend in Colorado Springs for a Spartan Race and were looking for a home that let our family spread out. This was a wonderful spot in a quiet neighborhood and the owners could not have been more welcoming. It is within walking distance to a park for our kids to play in, coffee shop and deli. We would definitely book again!
