Looking for an upscale and cozy getaway for your mountain holiday adventure? Look no further. We are located in the majestic Canadian Rockies of Canmore, Alberta. Out'n About Chalets is a legally operating vacation rental business established in 2012. *NOTE: The Town of Canmore just announced they are cracking down on illegally run vacation rental businesses in Canmore. Make sure you are booking your holiday at a legally run vacation rental business like ours!

So, When you enter our condo you'll immediately take in the stellar 360 degree mountain views, while settling in. Then, head out and explore our town just a ten minute walk to downtown Canmore's shopping and dining district. Or, enjoy scenic world class skiing, golf courses, hikes or a 10 minute drive or 50 minute bike into Banff National Park – home to glaciers, hot springs, and epic adventures. And, in 2018, we will go back to offering our guests a complimentary Banff Park Pass to get in and out of the Park! (it's free access through the end of this year).

In winter, we are close to four world class ski resorts and our Canmore Nordic Centre for epic cross country skiing, fat tire biking and inner tube tobogganing. In spring/summer/fall, there is no end to the activities you'll enjoy - it's all up to you!

Our "Out'n About" guests will find all the comforts of home in our fully equipped two bedroom chalet. We have free WiFi, a large private patio with gas BBQ, two HD televisions with Cable TV, in-suite laundry machines, cozy new comforters, linens and furnishings. Our gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and ready to host all your special family meal gatherings.

Warm up by our large gas fireplace while enjoying our amazing mountain views. We've added our own personal touches to help you to feel luxurious but comfortable -- a "kick your shoes off and relax" kinda place. Start exploring the Canadian Rockies from the moment you check in and enjoy a complimentary copy of 'Out'n About -- A fun and friendly guide to Banff & Canmore' to help you map out your stay. Chock full of ideas for hikes, bikes, scenic drives, favourite restaurants and more!

When you're not out enjoying the wilderness, there's plenty to do right here at the resort. We have a lovely common area hot tub, a well-equipped fitness center and in suite massage visits are available. Or, indulge yourself and walk over to nearby Onewellness Spa for a well-deserved massage or spa treatment. Or, simply cozy up with your loved ones and catch a newly released movie via AppleTV and Netflix.

We are a very active family from Calgary who are avid skiers -- our kids are in various ski racing programs in Banff and we wanted to have a place to hang our hats on these very busy weekends so we decided to purchase this wonderful condominium. We love it and know you will too!

Fire Mountain Lodge was built in 2006. It is conveniently located just a few minutes drive or walk away from shops, restaurants, grocery and liquor stores in the area. Our chalet boasts some of the BEST mountain views of all the properties we looked at in Canmore. It is in a quiet location as well. Clean 'n pristine, you won't be disappointed, rest assured.

What makes this townhome unique

We love the size of the condo (1100 sq. ft.), the upscale decor, in-suite laundry which was a must for an active outdoor family, plus the layout of the chalet is great for relaxing and entertaining. The patio is private and has it's own BBQ and did I say....AMAZING views!

fabulous condo in Canmore Alberta

We stayed at OUT'N ABOUT vacation chalet in mid September, unit 205. The place was perfect:great view, well appointed with even 2 tea pots in the kitchen, comfortable beds and great location. Walking distance to down-town, Policeman creek, coffee shops and Save-on-food blocks away as well as"An Edible Life" across the street with delicious home made me. We took a bus tour to the Ice Fields and the Brewster bus pick us up at the hotel next door. Even though we were close to the highway, it was very quiet. We loved our stay and would recommend it to every one who want a great experience in the Mountain. Peter and Louise from Edmonton Alberta

Awesome Condo

Condo was clean, convenient and was perfect for us. We loved the no key entrance - not having to pick up a key upon arrival and not having to keep track or losing it during our stay. Your book was a great companion for helping expand our plans during our stay. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thanks so much for a great place!

Great place and great location!

Beautiful chalet in Canmore. Easy access to Banff and Lake Louise without all the crowds. Views from chalet were the kind that people dream about. Place had all the things we needed to make it feel like home.

We just needed to buy a few groceries ro get us through the four days. Had some issues with the Homeaway app not letting us see the access code on day of check-in but Donna rectified this right away. Our only knocks on the facilities were the paper thin walls and tight parking stalls. Each night we were able to hear our neighbors having normal conversations while we were trying got sleep. Parking stalls so tight that my passengers had to get out before pulling in. Overall, I have no doubt that we would stay there again and we already miss the area! Thanks Donna and team!

Perfect property for us

We really enjoyed the property, it was perfect for our needs as a family of 4 with two teenagers. The property was clean and well equipped, we loved having the gas fireplace for chilly nights and the grill for dinners. The property is extremely conveniently located, walking distance from Main street and hiking, and with ample parking. All communications with the property manager were prompt and clear, and we loved the guide book to help us decide what to do during our stay. A++++!

Amazing Vacation

We had a wonderful stay in Canmore. The condo is in a very convenient location for exploring Banff and the surrounding area. It was neat, clean and had all the amenities we needed to feel at home. The parking is a little tight and although you have a mountain view the condo actually overlooks the parking lot of a car dealership. Overall we had a very pleasant stay in Canmore and look forward to a return visit.
