About Jonathan Freedman
I live in Maine, where I work as a psychologist/software developer/carpenter/writer. I have 3 grown children.
Jonathan Freedman purchased this House in 1994
Why Jonathan Freedman chose Eastham
I have been going to the Cape almost every year since I was 2. The Nauset beaches are inscribed indelibly into my sense of what is right in the world. This house is on the bike path, I've been a cyclist since age 9 and a rollerbladder since age 46.
What makes this House unique
This home is nearly completely surrounded by woods and more or less hidden from neighbors.

Perfect location perfect size
Children , parents, grandparents we're all able to be together for a family vacation. There was enough room for everyone to gather together as well as have their own personal space. With three generations we needed a location that we could access things for everyone. We were able to get to the beach, Provincetown shopping at flea market and the golf course.
House is tired needs updating, great location
The location is really good and we thankful to be able to rent a partial week. The houseneeds a lot of updating, needs newer furniture, needs a tv more than a small computer monitor. Needs new kitchen appliances, front screen door did not have a handle. The back shower was unusable, slippery from mold. Just needs a big updating but def a nice location.
Lots of room and instant access to the bike trail!
Our family enjoyed our time and the owner was attentive to any concerns. Only suggestion is a better cleaning service to take care of floors and bedrooms.
Eastham property on quiet road
Loved the privacy. Wished the beaches were closer. House was roomy enough for us. Only complaint was that it was not very clean. Lots of spider webs.
Private lovely large home on bike path
We thought this was a very comfortable large private home right off the bike path The bedrooms are large and comfortable. Beautiful home and the owner was always available to ask questions. We had a very relaxing week enjoyed our stay greatly .
Good house, great location, private setting
We stayed here for a week in late June with another family. 2 couples and 5 kids in all. The layout of the house is perfect for that, with a queen, bunk bed room, and full bath on each floor so each family could pretty much have their own space. The beds are all comfortable. We really loved the setting & location--the house is in a very pretty neighborhood off route 6 almost at the Wellfleet/Eastham line. It's on a quiet little cul de sac set completely back from the road and surrounded by woods, so completely private and lovely. The kids played in the front yard while the adults hung out on the deck in the evenings. The rail trail is steps away and we biked with the kids to LeCount Hollow beach in Wellfleet a few times. This isn't a luxury home, but it's clean and comfortable. Jonathan was very helpful and responsive to our questions. Would definitely go back.
we are right on a 40 km paved bike trail that also connects with many dirt trails on the forested section of the national seashore. the location is hidden from the road (which is a culdesac) and from the neighbors. We are a couple minutes walk from stores and restaurants along Route 6.
You need to bring your own linens (towels, sheets) and pillows. We have backups in case you forget, but can't guarantee them.
