Stay in this perfectly situated historical building in the heart of Rome! It is located on the famous Via Monterone, steps away from the Pantheon, and just a short walk to Piazza Navona and all the major sites.
The noble family of senior officials of the Holy See and the Capitol Sinibaldi di Monteleone di Spoleto ordered this palace be built on a group of medieval houses, which once belonged to the Monterone di Siena family, after which the street was named. Then, after them, it belonged to the Vittori, the Perretti, and in the XVI century they were purchased by the Nari. In 1829 the Latin Academy was there, and after 1870 the Roman Prefecture occupied the space. Finally, the Roman Archaeology Academy, the New Lincei Academy, and the Arcadi Academy used the building.
