About Louise

Louise is a former IT expert who discovered scuba diving on the wonderful reefs in TCI and this opened the door to a sustainable holiday home business.

Louise purchased this villa in 2004

Why Louise chose Providenciales

Fell in love with the islands for the utterly superb diving ... and gentle breezes. I simply love Provo and staying here is calming - I can just chill out with sand between my toes.

What makes this villa unique

Knowing that I can walk along a deserted beach watching the sun rise every day I choose to, and at dusk snorkelling to say 'hi' to the turtles and little fish, and then walking for a really nice meal at the marina.

Car: recommended

This is a fantastic, safe and convenient location. Many excellent restaurants at Turtle Cove: Baci, Green Bean, Magnolia, Mango Reef, Sharkbite, Simone's and Tiki Hut. Some cater for take-out meals. The IGA Supermarket is a convenient one mile away and has ready prepared chickens, pizza and other meals. Whilst it is not necessary to have a car, we find most guests arrange rental of a car or scooter to explore the island for at least a couple of days.

Gorgeous villa minutes to perfect beach!

  • 5 of 5

We booked Coral Villa for 10 days. It is a lovely, spacious villa set in beautiful private gardens. The gorgeous wraparound screened porch was the perfect place to relax with a drink and a good book or to eat dinner by candlelight. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. There were towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. There was even a welcome basket filled with extras like sunblock (in case you forgot to bring some), and a cellphone for local use.

Because we occasionally love to cook while on vacation, we especially appreciated that the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were spacious with adjoining bathrooms, and the beds super comfortable.

The beach is under five minutes walk away and feels wonderfully private and peaceful with exceptional views. It is shallow for a good distance and very safe, with great snorkeling even for the most inexperienced. The water in Provo has unbelievable shades of blue - no words to describe it - and the diving is spectacular. Robinson the friendly cat sometimes came and miaowed to welcome us back.

Great restaurants everywhere - including within walking distance of the villa - all serving excellent food. Don't miss the addictive conch at Mr. Groupers or delicious oxtail stew at Kikaloos! People were truly friendly and welcoming, and it was great to see belongers, locals and tourists all enjoying the island together. Louise is just the loveliest person! She has great knowledge of the island and she went above and beyond to welcome us and make our stay both comfortable and memorable.

We've traveled all over the Caribbean and this definitely comes top in the list of places we plan to return to!

Excellent Property

  • 5 of 5

My husband, son and his wife stayed at Coral Villa for a week and had a great time. The house was maintained beautifully, with 2 private bedrooms and baths, kitchen and living room, and a wonderful airy veranda porch to enjoy. It was so peaceful at the private beach, which only took 2 minutes to walk to. And the snorkeling was great.

Louise was a wonderful landlord, offering information and friendship. And we loved the property kitty! We would definitely come back and stay here again when in Provo. If you want privacy, lovely beach, but close to restaurants and activities, Coral Villa is the place to stay.

Perfect in all ways

  • 5 of 5

We have used VRBO many times in our travels and this was without question the greatest spot of any we have stayed.

Excellent care by owners. Everything that you need for a lovely, vacation is at your fingertips. The 2 bedrooms were perfect for 2 couples. Large screen porch that allows you sit amongst the trees, watch birds and feel like you are in a treehouse. Laundry for your use. Kitchen perfect. We had such a great time. Have recommended this to numerous friends when they are looking to go to Provo. We walked into the village for some meals, walked to the beach for hours of snorkeling. Saw many fish and marine life . Rented a car and drove around island but really not necessary because everything you could want or need is right on Donkey Lane. Can really not offer enough words of praise for this perfect villa.

Great experience

  • 5 of 5

Our family (2 adult and 2 children) spent 10 days at Coral Villa in November. We had a fantastic time. The house is very comfortable with two bedrooms and a porch ourside. The major plus is the near-private beach at the end of Donkey Lane. It's a 5 minute walk, with few other people on this part of the beach. One can walk towards the marina and not encounter a single person. The snorkeling off the beach was great. We had a car and were able to explore the island, including the Conch farm, Sapodilla Bay (nice calm beach forthe kids) and a day trip to Iguana island. The weekly fish fry was great.

I would certainly recommend Coral Villa.

Wonderful vacation and location!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a marvellous week at Coral Villa, wishing we could have stayed for more. We enjoyed the villa and Louise was very kind and helpful. The villa was very clean and presented as it does in the photos. We spent our days at the beach, just a short walk from the villa. Both the beach and villa were very quiet and a relaxing stay.

We enjoyed our dinners at local restaurants mostly at Turtle Cove. Also, be sure to check out the Thursday Night Fish Fry, just a brief walk from the villa.

We also rented a car and spent a day at Taylor Beach, ate at Bugaloo's for lunch and dinner at Las Brisas (located at Neptunes Villas). I would also highly recommend these if your looking to change scenery for a day.

We would definitely return to Coral Villa!

ISO: Peace, beauty, total comfort

  • 5 of 5

Coral Villa is truly a perfect place to experience the best of Provo. It is a lovely, well cared for villa that has two lovely spacious bedrooms, each with their own spotless baths, a very comfy living area and kitchen (with every possible utensil and updated appliance you'd need), and the gem is an enormous screened in porch that overlooks a peaceful back yard. I guarantee you will live out there. Best yet, you are literally 5 minutes walk away from the most pristine, beautiful beach in the Caribbean, Grace Bay Beach, that is EMPTY! Louise is the most accommodating hostess you can imagine and there is even the use of a washer/drier that comes in very handy. Many excellent restaurants are within walking or driving distance and grocery stores are nearby. Our very favorite was Bay Bistro at the Sibonne Beach Hotel -- a very romantic setting right on the beach, perfect for dinner but even better, for breakfast, because the view is so idyllic. Whatever you do, don't miss the Thursday night Fish Fry at the nearby waterfront park. You can easily walk there. It is a must and you get to mingle with both tourists and residents and eat and drink from a huge selection of local restaurants who set up food tents. Snorkeling on the island is fantastic and the two best reefs are literally within a half mile of the villa. Provo is expensive but if you cook at home or, better yet, plan ahead and bring some critical snacks and foods down with you, you can manage to save money. Beaches are free and plentiful and Louise offers beach chairs and umbrellas for you to use. Rum is cheap. I would highly recommend renting a car, at least for a few days, because the island is fun to explore. Having said that, you can basically walk to everything you need from the villa. If you are looking for an idyllic getaway, this is the place. We have stayed other places on Provo and Coral Villa is without question the one we would return to.
