The villa includes Air-conditioning, Cable TV and DVD/VCR, video and music library, reading library, games, high chair and pack n play, fully equipped kitchen and washer / dryer. Each room has ceiling fans and screens so you can enjoy the ocean breeze. We even offer 2 kayaks to explore our beautiful cove.

Bahia Pez Vela is a secluded oasis that seems miles away from the real world but is really just a quick 10 minutes to Playas Del Coco, which hosts a variety of bars, restaurants and shopping with the local street vendors. We are centrally located to several national parks, volcanoes (Mira Valles, Rincon and Arenal), waterfalls and many beautiful beaches along with dozens of day trip activities available.

At Villa Ginger, you can find all the adventure you are looking for or… just choose to relax! Recline poolside or enjoy a massage on our own black sand beach with the sound of the gentle waves in the background.

Paradise! Immaculate property & wonderful location! Best part of our trip!

  • 5 of 5

Stunning property in a gorgeous setting! We were very, very happy with our stay at Villa Ginger. The location was just enough off the beaten path to feel secluded but just a quick drive to numerous excursions, attractions & shopping. Kelsey (& Gustavo :) were knowledgeable, communicative & very patient with our numerous questions & changes to our itinerary. Thanks again to the both of you!

The home was spotless with a well-equipped kitchen & laundry room, large bedrooms, bathrooms & closets. Located just steps from the beach & pool. The pictures really don't do this home justice. The beach & pool were amazing - my children were able to snorkel & play in the surf during the day & enjoy the expansive pool at night. We wouldn't have changed a thing about our stay & hope to return!

Beautiful Property!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I traveled with two other couples and stayed at this beautiful property. Kelsey took care of all details, arranged our "hassle free" car rental, made the whole checkin process incredibly easy. She arranged our tour to Palo Verde, where we saw huge iguanas, monkeys and crocodiles. Kelsey was also available with good advice for all other activities in the area. The staff at the on-site restaurant were helpful and took care of our every need. Loved this property!!!

Best View In The Resort!

  • 5 of 5

This Villa is closer to the beach than the pictures show. The covered patio is great for escaping the very hot mid-day sun. The listing is very accurate; it's well-stocked, great beach view, close to restaurant/bar/pool.

The resort seemed pretty empty while we were there. We liked it that way. No crowds at the pool, restaurant or beach. This is supposed to be rainy season but we only got rained on once while we were ziplining about 1.5 hours away from the resort. It was still fun and was combined with a hot springs visit.

We also went on a wave-runner tour and an ATV tour. Both worth doing with our kids ages 20,18,14,11 & 6. And my in-laws enjoyed them too!

Our rental cars, dinner reservations and activities were arranged by Kelsey. Her service was great and I changed things many times before we got there She got everything done, no problem, and called me when I arrived to check on us. Priceless! I would definitely recommend this resort and this villa in particular!

My family and I had a great time in Costa Rica during the Christmas holiday. The house was so well situated on a beautiful beach - the weather warm and sunny. The house was close to town so that we could go shopping for food to prepare at the house OR to eat dinner out in the evening. Kelsey was super helpful in all planning stages along the way too! We really enjoyed it!

Just perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We had looked at a ton of properties, but this one seemed to offer it all - near town, an onsite restaurant, plenty of room, but right by the beach. The house was just what we wanted. The beach was steps away, exceptionally clean, and there was NO ONE there. The beds were super comfortable, there were plenty of ceiling fans, and air conditioning if we wanted it. The view from the master bedroom and the large guest bedroom were of the beach and the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked and HUGE, plus there is a gas grill on the patio. The patio is covered so you can enjoy the afternoon rains without getting soaked. We had another couple staying with us, and we all sat on the patio enjoying the sound of the ocean, the birds, and the monkeys. There is nothing better than waking up to howlers at 5am! They hang out in the trees adjacent to the beach. The pool is just steps away from the house, and it is gorgeous. The on-site restaurant serves good food, but be brave and venture out. There are some great local places, like the soda across from the police station by the dive shop in Coco, and the soda on the beach in Playa Hermosa (take the primero entrance and follow it down to the beach - the soda will be left of where you park. It isn't cheap, but we had some awesome whole red snapper there.) For margaritas head to Father Rooster's just down the road. Snorkeling is really good there too - our friends saw eagle rays, spotted eels, puffer fish, and many others. The great thing about this house is that it is near a lot of things. The service was wonderful - the air conditioning went out in the lower level of the house, and they had someone out to look at it right away. This was the weekend and they determined it couldn't be fixed, and by Monday we had a new air conditioner. I can't say enough about this house and Kelsey was great. Maybe I'm sabotaging myself with this review, because now EVERYONE will want to stay here. Kelsey, save us a week next year!
