The quality makes the difference!

The apartment is as described, very nice and charming. On a lovely tree lined street, very quiet and safe neighborhood, easy to walk to/from the subway (2 different subways stops nearby - 5 minutes walk) to access to anything we wanted.

The apartment was clean, tidy and very comfortable, with lots of natural light. The bedroom has an excellent size and a king size bed to rest after a long day walking/visiting Manhattan with night table at each side with a lamp, 3 closets for clothing and luggage, a chest of drawers (very useful), cotton towels and linens very white, nice and soft, air conditioner on the bedroom and living/kitchen area. The bathroom has lots of natural light and the shower works perfectly. The open kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook (pans, utensil, microwave, oven and very spacious), the fridge is big and works perfect (essential in summer time) and has also a minifridge beside the dishwasher. The sofa that turns in a queen size bed is very comfortable as well.

All plugs, fridge and kitchen cupboard have safety for children.

There is nearby a good supermarket, Laundromat, restaurants and cafeterias.

Rita and Adam have been wonderful hosts, very easy to contact with. They contacted us prior the arrival. Rita was there when we arrived to welcome us and showed us the apartment. They were not intrusive and were very friendly. We highly recommend this comfortable and beautiful apartment in Prospect Heights.

Thank you Rita and Adam! It has been a pleasure been at your home.

Beautiful apartment

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was clean and stylish and QUIET. Rita was so very accommodating with my need for flexible dates which then needed last minute extending. I loved the neighborhood and how comfortable it was to walk...everywhere. I've desired a place that I would "look forward" to returning on my visits to daughter and family. And now I've found it!!!

Great Location and Nice Accomodation

  • 4 of 5

On a lovely tree lined street, this apartment is centrallly located in a bustling neighborhood filled with restaurants, coffee shops, markets, pharmacy near Prospect Park, and subways for easy access to NYC. The apartment itself is clean, sunny and bright tho a tad small for more than one person. The furniture, except the bed, is uncomfortable and access is by 3 steep flights of stairs.

Owner's Response: We are glad you enjoyed your stay and location of the apartment. Prospect Heights is truly a gem of a neighborhood! As described in the listing, this floor-through apartment is about 750 square feet: a large one bedroom by New York City standards and more than adequate for 2 people. The apartment is over two times as large as a typical hotel room in any part of the US. (The roll out sofa bed gives an option for more than 2 people to stay.) Also, as described in the listing, there is a stoop outside and 2 flights of very typical stairs to get to the apartment. (I've been to Amsterdam and seen "steep" stairs - ours do not compare to that!) This is standard in NYC/Brooklyn. But if stairs are a problem, guests should definitely look for another option! Brownstone living is vertical living. On the upside, you are staying above the treetops and get tons of light! :)

My wife and I have stayed at about 10 different VRBO apartments in the NYC area (Manhattan and Brooklyn) over the past years, and this one was the best. Nice large bedroom with an excellent king size bed that was the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel or vacation rental. A marvelous bath, and a nice living/ dining/ kitchen area. Very clean. It was everything we wanted. Close to two different subway lines with access to anything we wanted, mostly museums and the theater. Adam and Rita were wonderful hosts. They were there when we had a question, but otherwise non intrusive. We highly recommend this Park Slope apartment.

This apartment was everything we hoped for and more! It was clean, spacious and very comfortable, with an amazing bathroom! The hosts were wonderful to communicate with prior to arrival and addressed any of our minor questions while we were there immediately! We commuted to Manhatten almost everyday by subway and it was around 20 minutes and easy. After a busy day we were always happy to get back to our peaceful apartment and scout out a great local restaurant. This is THE place to stay in Brooklyn!
