I am the retired dean of an east coast conservatory of music. My husband and I moved to Boulder in 1958 for summer graduate school, and never ‘left,’ though careers eventually took us to the East Coast and travel all over the US and abroad.
After retirement, this was the perfect place for the home that is a ‘retreat’ for the entire family to come whenever possible. I love the idea of someone else enjoying it as much as we do, when we’re not here.
It has a peaceful feel. Charming neighborhood waterfalls, walking paths; yet is close to virtually everything that makes life wonderfully livable.

My family of 5 loved staying at this house - it is beautiful, spacious and in a great location. Owner Eileen very accommodating and gracious. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace as it snowed while we were in town! There is room enough to sleep 6-8 people as the house's description says; however, most of those sleeping spaces are pull-out couches and a murphy (sp?) bed. There is only one freestanding bed upstairs, and it is a king-size. Nevertheless, my family enjoyed the beautiful views outside the living room - those more than made up for the lack of actual beds. We will definitely stay here again!
i loved this place . the owner was so helpful. she let us use her bikes and sleds. we loved it!
