There is a new Weber Genesis BBQ., purchased December 2014.The house was built in 2004. It is decorated to a high standard of finish, and has high vaulted ceilings, Italian tiled floors and decorative archways. Each room is fitted with ceiling fans. The Owners Retreat comprises of a very large Master bedroom (19ftx14ft) which has a King sized Tommy Bahama style bed, dressed with a Bed Bath and Beyond Palm Grove Comforter Bed Set. and a 2014 40' Toshiba LED Flat Screen TV, Bose iPod Docking Station and an armchair and footrest. Off the Master bedroom is a large (13ftx15ft) en suite bathroom,(with separate WC), a bath tub and walk through shower. There are his and her vanity units. It is furnished with a comfortable leather sofa, and armchairs. The rooms opens on to the lanai through a 12 ft Triple Sliding door. There is a Formal Dining Room which seats 6. The Snug offers a second seating area with WIFI broadband. The kitchen is fully equipped to a high standard. There is an August 2014 model stainless steel Whirlpool Oven and Microwave.The Fridge Freezer is a 2013 GEC model. There is a GEC 2011 Dishwasher. There is a preparation island, and breakfast bar. The utility room has a GEC Washer and Dryer, and a Brabantia XL Ironing Board. Off the kitchen is a breakfast table. A second set of 9 ft Triple sliders provide access to the BBQ area and outside dinning. The villa has a 62 foot lanai with outside dining , sun loungers and an outside modular seating. There is a 30 ft heated swimming pool and separately heated spa. The villa has a boat dock alongside which a rented boat can be secured. The Villa is situated on a 120 foot wide canal, near to the junction of another canal. From the spa there is a magnificent unobstructed westerly view down the canal towards the glorious sunsets.There is Gulf Access, within 30 minutes. The villa is in a quiet residential area within a quarter of a mile of the Publix Supermarket at Camelot Isles Shopping Mall, and is less than 2 miles from Cape Harbour.

The property is a spacious detached house. It is well designed. Built by National Builder David Weekly. We bought this property as a retirement home and for our friends and family to vacation with us. We chose SW Cape Coral as it is a safe neighborhood. The house is only 5 minutes walk from Camelot Isles, and an early morning 20 minutes walk to Cape Harbour provides lots of opportunities to spot Burrowing Owls, and to admire the beautifully kept gardens of the SW Cape Residents. Cape Coral is a good location and offers easy access to a range of different experiences. A Half Day trip to The Everglades and Chokoloskee, provide a unique experience. During longer stays it is easy to take The Key West Express from Fort Myers and spend a weekend in Key West.

Better than Home Away
We rented this property May 3rd through the 10th 2018. The property more than met our expectations. There was plenty of room for the family and than some. The location was excellent, close to shopping, restaurants, and beaches, I didn't get to see a manatees, however I did get to see a dolphin at Fort Myers Pier. That was cool, also fishing off the dock in the back of the property was a blast!! My husband caught a sting ray. Unheard of according to the locals. My granddaughter loved the swimming pool. Overall our experience was more than we could have hoped for, loved our stay and look forward to renting again. Thank you Catherine for sharing your home with us, and making my first visit to Florida a memorable experience.
This home is amazing!! The owner Catherine is extremely nice and helpful. This home has everything you need: huge lanai, beautiful pool and hot tub, huge master bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, PVR and on demand TV/movies. It was our paradise for 3 months! We would sit by the pool and watch the jumping fish in the canal. We felt so lucky to be there. Thank you Catherine for everything!
Truly a Tropical Haven
We stayed at Tropical Haven for 2 weeks at the beginning of November and were blessed with beautiful weather. What an amazing villa the photos don't do it justice thank you Catherine for sharing your home. There was just me and my husband so we only used the back of the house but we loved the openness of the kitchen (very well stocked for all your cooking needs)and living area. It is furnished to a high standard and felt very homely. We loved the bathroom and walk through shower and the closet wow it was massive. The oversized pool and spa deck was perfect for sitting out in the covered lanai or the extended deck in the sun all overlooking the canal and the jumping fish, we even saw some rays down by the boat dock along with spectacular sunrises and sunsets. The villa was just perfect for our needs and we ended up spending a lot more time than we intended just relaxing there. The neighbours we saw were very friendly and when the time came we were sad to leave it felt so much like home. There are lots of bars and restaurants locally we especially liked to walk to the Overtime sports bar and grill and drive to the Boathouse which kind of became our local lovely friendly staff,great food and awesome views. Sannibel and Captiva Island stole our hearts the beaches and shelling ,pods of dolphins,gopher tortoise such a special place. We have stayed in many villas over the years but this has to be our favourite.
I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at our house. We built it as our retirement home. We love the area and the easy access to a wide variety of Floridian experiences.

This house was perfect for our Spring Break vacation. Very comfortable bedding and furniture and a fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed lazy days by the pool with a nice breeze off from the canal. Didn't have much luck catching fish off from the dock, but the jumping fish were really entertaining. Stores, restaurants, and beaches were not far away. Best of all, Catherine was wonderful to work with and her management group was super friendly. Thanks for a great vacation!!

The Villa is located in the quiet select residential area of the SW Cape it has easy access to Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel and Captiva, Pine Island and Cayo Costa. There are many different local restaurants, serving varied cuisine. Restaurants range from Upmarket Brewbabies, and Rum Runners to a wide variety of national chains, and privately owned restaurants. Every taste is catered for. Outlet shopping is a must do at either Tanger Mall or Mirimar Outlets. Upmarket designer shopping is available at Saks inThe Bell Tower Mall in Fort Myers. There are a variety of boat tours that can be taken. The Private Island Of Useppa has an excellent Museum dedicated to The Bay of Pigs Invasion. A trip to The State Park at Caya Costa offers fine sea shelling, wonderful varieties of flora and fauna. The ferry from Jug Creek offers an opportunity to experience the old Florida of Pine Island. Freshly caught fish is available from The Jug Creek Fish Company. Fort Myers Beach offers the opportunity to experience a wide variety of water sports, and the opportunity to see Gopher Tortoise at Bowditch Park. The scenic drive down Estero Boulevard leads to Lovers Key State Park, where you can Birdwatch, Hike, Swim and Kayak. The restaurants and shops at Tin City Naples are worth a visit.
Sanibel and Captiva are a short drive away and have some excellent restaurants, and shops, it is worth hiring a Bike and touring the island. Ding Darling National Park is a must.

Rates are quoted for up to four people,extra persons are charged at (US$) 50.00 per person per week. There is also US $170+ tax, final cleaning charge payable locally to our management company. There is a REFUNDABLE $500 Security Deposit - payable by Credit Card on arrival to Property Manager. An Electricity usage allowance of UD$ 30.00 is included within the weekly price, any further electricity used will be charged at the end of your stay and is deducted from the Security Deposit. There is a Pet Fee of $100.00 for EACH dog (Maximum of TWO)
