Placed at Casco Antiguo: It's the central area of Seville where the main shops and the main tourist attractions of the city. Attractions: The cathedral, the Alcázar, the Torre del Oro, the Town Hall, the Palace of San Telmo, the University of Seville, the Metropol Parasol... It has a population of 56,206 inhabitants. Neighborhoods: El Arenal, Encarnación-Regina, Alfalfa, San Bartolomé, San Lorenzo, San Gil, Museo, Santa Catalina, Santa Cruz, Feria, San Julián, San Vicente.

Close to the apartment you will discover The Semana Santa (Holy Week) and the Feria de Sevilla (Seville Fair), also known as Feria de Abril (April Fair). Both are the two most well-known of Seville's festivals. Seville is internationally renowned for the solemn but beautiful processions during Holy Week and the colourful and lively fair held two weeks after. During Feria, families, businesses and organizations set up casetas (marquees) in which they spend the week dancing, drinking, and socializing. Traditionally, women wear elaborate flamenco dresses and men dress in their best suits. The marquees are set up on a permanent fairground in which each street is named after a famous bullfighter.

Nearby you wil find that Seville is a gastronomic centre, with a cuisine based on the products of the surrounding provinces, including seafood from Cádiz and Huelva, olive oil from Jaén, and sherry from Jerez de la Frontera.

The tapas scene is one of the main cultural attractions of the city: people go from one bar to another, enjoying small dishes called tapas (literally 'lids' or 'covers' in Spanish, referring to their probable origin as snacks served in small plates used to cover drinks.)

Great location

Excellent location and able to walk everywhere. Main living room is upstairs without guardrail, so small children would not be safe unless watched closely. Kitchen was very cosy and courtyard was beautiful.

Cool Place, Amazing Location!

We had a terrific stay here during Semana Santa. The location couldn't have been better. Calle Pajaritos is a tiny street, but a stones throw away from the parade routes, shops and restaurants. The apartment was really neat. Sort of a tucked away grotto in the heart of Seville. Having bathrooms on each level made it so easy in the morning when everyone was getting ready. Alonza met us at the exact time indicated and was a delight as she showed us around the place. Being a ground-level place, there are no windows out to the street, just the shared courtyard, but that ended up being a plus during parade season, since it kept the flat very cool and very quiet. In the early evenings I enjoyed a couple of quiet hours up on the roof with a book and cerveza. The views are interesting up there, and I had the place to myself each time as the sun was going down. I highly recommend Raquel's place. We'd stay there again!

Una gran ubicacion y un apartamento realmente sevillano

Un apartamento lindísimo a pocas cuadras de la Catedral de Sevilla, cerca de todo y con muchos restaurantes y posibilidades en las cercanías. Una calle encantadora típica de Sevilla, y un apartamento con una entrada señorial que conduce a un patio andaluz muy bonito. Además la posibilidad de una terraza desde donde se puede divisar la Catedral y todo Sevilla. El apartamento cuenta con un muy buen equipamiento y como si fuera poco su dueña Raquel es muy gentil y servicial, siempre atenta al telefono para ayudar a los visitantes. No dudo en recomendarlo.

Location and apartment hard to beat

We spent a few days in Seville with our family in this apartment. The location is right middle in the center between all the main attractions in Seville.

First the apartment is great, it is very clean and it has all amenities to make life of a traveler easy, fully equipped kitchen, washer, wifi, TV etc. The apartment is in a nice historic building, you enter it from a typical courtyard with fountain. The apartment itself is very well maintained, with a roomy kitchen downstairs and a nice sitting area upstairs.

It is nice and quiet at night but you walk out and when you turn the corner you are in the middle of the action. Great!

Also directions given by the owner were very helpful as driving in the small streets of Seville is not easy, especially during the busy Christmas/New Years week. Just park the car in the parking garage and walk 5 minutes to the apartment, you don't need the car for the duration of your stay.

Great Apartment and location!!

My husband and I along with our two college aged children spent 3 nights at this apartment last week and it was perfect! The apartment is spotless and lacks nothing. It was located in a historic area and very close to everything we wanted to visit. It is quiet at the apartment but one block away there is a lot of activity, shopping and great restaurants. The owner, Raquel was extremely helpful and pointed us to some wonderful restaurants which were all delicious! We would definitely stay at this apartment again.

fantastic location and an absolutely beautiful building. Apartment was great but might be a little tight for "larger" folks. My family was very happy there and would definitely stay again.
