About the property

Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 8-10)

Jeremiah Johnson is a two-story, three-bedroom cabin with two full baths; it can easily accommodate ten people. Downstairs, the fireplace dominates the living room, which features a queen sofa sleeper; there is also a well appointed kitchen, full bathroom, and a bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a queen-sized bed and the other with four bunk-style beds—and a shared bathroom. As with all our cabins, the furnishings are custom-made or carefully selected from local merchants, including antique shops and the studios of local artisans.

What makes this cabin unique

"JEREMIAH JOHNSON"

Easily our most masculine and rustic of interiors, this hunting-themed cabin recalls the days when survival skills were a necessity in the rugged mountains of Colorado.

Incredible place, EVERYTHING we hoped for plus. Would recommend this place to anyone

This place is incredible! 4 miles off paved road nestled in the mountains. Mr. Reed was very helpful with information. The cabin had EVERYTHING! Even the bear was friendly and didn't bother nobody! We will definitely return. The wildlife and setting was majestic

Dead mouse found in downstairs bedroom; bad "sewer" type smell outside of cabin; uncomfortable beds

  • 2 of 5

Beautiful scenery but very unhappy overall with accommodations. Not worth the price paid.

Charming

  • 4 of 5

This cabin is a little secluded charm. It's the real deal if you're looking for a true to life cabin. Everything was so cozy and clean. The living area is a bit small but I'm sure in the summer you spend most of your time outside on the beautiful deck or under the gazebo. It's about 20 min to town but the drive is lovely. We would definitely stay here again!

Durango, Colorado - situated at the base of the San Juan Mountains, is known as a world-class tourist destination. Attractions such as Mesa Verde National Park, the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and the 14,000 foot mountains draw visitors from around the globe.

Whether they come to ski fresh powder snow (at areas like Durango Mountain Resort, Silverton Mountain or Wolf Creek Ski Area) ride a world-class mountain bike single track, or raft and kayak down the mighty Animas River - few visitors realize the amount of diverse businesses that have chosen to make Durango their home. National and international businesses such as Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Chinook Medical Gear, Mercury Payment Systems and StoneAge Waterjet Tools all choose to locate here.

Perhaps it’s because of the rich culture, historic charm, Fort Lewis College, vibrant nightlife, or award-winning restaurants… Large corporations and small main street shops thrive in Durango. -Durango Area Chamber of Commerce
