About Gina Sullivan

We live in NY with our 8 children. We are owners of a contracting company. We spend most of our time with our kids or at work. We enjoy Florida and purchased this home as place to take our family and create memories. We leave some weeks for ourselves. We hope to retire there someday, but in the meantime we are happy to use it as an investment opportunity. We chose Cape Coral because it feels like a true community and had a hometown atmosphere.

Gina Sullivan purchased this house in 2014

Beautiful home in a great neighborhood close to everything

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed for 5 nights and had an amazing time. We didn't want to leave. The owner Gina was great and provided lots of information on what to do for fun in the area. Gina decorated her home similar to mine so it truly felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed cooking family meals in the stunning kitchen and had fun in the heated pool with the kids at night. The view from the home was breathtaking and it was so peaceful to sit on the dock by the canal. We even rented a boat nearby so we can enjoy cruising down the canal and even saw a family of dolphins in the bay. We made such wonderful memories and thank Gina and Jim for opening their home to us. We would recommend this beauriful home to anyone.

Wonderful Property

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this property in Cape Coral. Gina, the owner made sure every little detail was perfect. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay in the area. The house and pool are kept in top shape and the lay out of the home is perfect for a family that likes to spread out a bit. It feels like having a home on vacation. I have nothing to complain about here...just so much positive! The owners kept great communication throughout the week and even gave great suggestions of places to visit. The house is fully equipped, clean, bright, fresh and in a great location on a canal. The pool was refreshing after a long day out sight seeing. The location is close to many nice places. Seriously don't hesitate to book this property!

Simply perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We spent 3 days at Gina's house and everything was amazing! It was my family and my brother's family and there was plenty room for everybody! We love the kayak and we enjoy the quiet and zero stress of the area. You will find everything you need at the house, super clean and new! Gina answered every text within minutes and she really wants to be sure that everything is set to enjoy! Love the decoration (because is so similar to my own home lol!) Thank you!!!

First time visit

  • 4 of 5

The owners, Gina & Jim, were wonderful to deal with. The home is very well appointed with everything you need to enjoy your stay. If the owners missed anything in kitchen accessories and other necessities, we didn't see it. The home is in a nice community with friendly neighbors, close to everything, and has it's own boat dock. Although we didn't have a boat the fishing from the dock was great catching several 3-5 lb big mouth bass. The jumping, darn near flying, mullet were entertaining. We made friends with several turtles that spotted us on the dock each day and swam over for their daily feeding...you can feed them from your hand (protect the fingers.)

Most of our contact was with Gina for the usual first time renter questions, most of which she had answered, in written documents in the home. Gina could not have been more responsive, accommodating, and genuinely concerned that we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay. A few minor issues always surface, you can't anticipate everything, and Gina was with us all the way to get them quickly resolved.

Gina provided us a list of great sightseeing areas nearby as well as some excellent restaurants! Great kayaking just off the dock or paddle boarding & kayaking in the lovely town of Matlache nearby. Beaches nearby but we avoided the crowds and just lounged at the house by the over-sized heated pool.

In closing, we were with family from "up north" and would highly recommend this home...it actually felt like home too!

Cape Coral west

  • 5 of 5

we arrived just five days after a major tornado had gone through the neighborhood, while this home sustained only minor damage to lanai screens, may of the other homes were severely damaged and under major repairs. the owner phoned me ahead of our arrival to caution as to what to expect. this was the beginning of a very good relationship between renter and owner that continue through our stay in the property. house was perfect for two adult couples. everything was in place and as expected and the house was clean and well prepared for our visit. Wi-Fi is excellent through the house and on the deck. Cable TV has too many options to name. Pool was nice but we used in sparingly due to cool weather. kitchen was excellent with new appliances and everything in perfect working order. there were ample new dishes and glasses and silverware. the dishwasher and washer and dryer worked flawlessly. the beds are very comfortable and bedding is ideal for a great night's sleep. location is great ... no neighbors jammed in on either side, but still within two minutes of Publix and Walgreens and numerous eating establishments (be sure to try Duffy's). we rent often from VRBO and HomeAway and i would rate this rental near the top of the list.

We chose Cape Coral because we are minutes to a variety of places, activities, and attractions. Ft. Myers, Sanibel, Captiva to name a few. There is so much nearby that we have yet to see everything. You can drive up to Punta Gorda and Fisherman's Wharf, or head south to Naples. We love that there are so many restaurants, shops, entertainment nearby. Cape Harbor Marina is a bike ride away. I love to go out to dinner there and walk through the marina. Live music is often playing. We keep finding new places to eat. The kids love Ford's Garage Restaurant. I like Rum Runners at Tarpon Point Marina. Our kids love going to Sanibel Island. They spend hours finding beautiful sea shells. The sunsets are spectacular. We just purchased and completely renovated this home in April. Everything is brand new. You don't even have to leave the house because it feels like a hotel inside. We enjoy our pool, fishing off our dock, cooking in our huge kitchen, playing board games with the kids, nightly walks, and always the a short ride to get ice-cream at one of the many parlors. We spent a few weeks searching for the perfect area and we think Cape Coral is it. It has something for everyone. It's not a touristy town, but it's a short distance to tourist destinations. I like that there's a 'downtown' area that you can walk through. We are country music fans and loved the Dixie Roadhouse bar. We've been down here as a couple and with our kids. We have found there is so much to do whether we want a romantic week or a family week. We have flown into Punta Gorda on Allegiant Airlines for $79 and it's only 30 minutes to our house. We've also flown into Ft. Myers airport and it's a $45 cab ride to the house. My husband loves to boat and fish. Cape Coral has plenty of both. We've rented a boat and had some amazing experiences on the gulf waters. There's nothing else like it. Between all there is to do and having a totally remodeled and brand new interior home I'm sure you will be very happy. The furnishings are Tommy Bahama style and very cool.
