This prestigious three bedroom/ three bathroom mews house has recently been completely upgraded to a modern, stylish, contemporary finish. The mews lies at the heart of South Kensington with its many bars, boutiques and restaurants. It is just a three minute walk from South Kensington tube station, yet the mews offers a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis.
The house has on the ground floor the large open plan L-shaped living room with light streaming in from the front windows, two three seater settees, feature fireplace, dining table and six chairs, and off to the side is the fully integrated kitchen with all usual appliances. On the first floor is the master bedroom with king size bed, built-in wardrobes, chest of drawers, bathed in light through juliet style doors looking out onto the mews and en-suite bathroom with tub and shower overhead, hand basin and wc; a second double bedroom with built in cupboard, chest of drawers with second bathroom with tub and shower overhead, hand basin and wc; on the first floor is also a study with access to the roof terrace. On the lower ground floor is the third double bedroom with built in wardrobes and en-suite wet room with shower, hand basic and wc; there is also a large living area attached to the lower ground floor bedroom. There is no parking in the mews but garage use is available separately.
Not only are you a walk away from South Kensington with its famous museums (Victoria and Albert, Natural History etc), but you are easy walking from Harrods, and high end shops at Knightsbridge/Sloane Street, and Chelsea’s Kings Road which since the 60's has been a haven for the music and art community of London. The Kings Road boast many bars, eateries and shopping opportunities. Chelsea has its own Theatre (the Royal Court Theatre) and live music venue (Cadogan Hall) both at Sloane Square, along with the Saatchi Gallery at Duke of York Plaza where there is also a Saturday market, as is also the case in nearby Mozart Square at the bottom of Bourne Street. The famous organic food store and eatery Daylesford at 44 Pimlico Road is a must. Easy access to the Royal Albert Hall boasting not only the big music events but enjoy live jazz in the evening while eating in the Edgar Room, or live music while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee at the Café Consort. You also have the score-plus theatres in the West End. Just a 10 minute underground journey brings you to Leicester Square, or the Palace of Westminster and Buckingham Palace. The Thames furnishes you with numerous boat trips up and down its historic banks with frequest stop offs. For practical purposes, there is a supermarket (Waitrose) just round the corner a couple of minutes away.
If you go to google maps and enter SW7 3AF and then move the little man onto the road you will get a good street-level view of the area.
As with all of central London, it is far easier to get about on public transport than a hire car as there is daily congestion charge and parking charges and Chelsea is wonderfully situated being so centrally located to all of the sights. There is a London City/Barclays Bank bike hire scheme - see transport for London's website under cycling.
The cost per week is £3150 (minimum stay of 6 nights) which includes all utilities, wi fi, cable, linens and towels, let-in/end-of-stay cleaning charge; A garage can be rented separately.

Perfect location-perfect rental!
We visited family in London with our 3 daughter’s and son-in-law and this home was the perfect launching and landing spot for touring around London. Two blocks from the tube on a quiet street, this beautiful mess house is beautifully decorated, architecturally stunning and outfitted with everything comfort of home. The nearby restaurants and pubs are not only close but with great food and two close grocery stores were super convenient. We’ll definitely be back again. Fay was super responsive and provided everything we needed from check in to check out. Perfect place!
London and Onslow Mews/S Kensington
We could not not have asked to a lovelier time in London. Our flat in S. Kensington was a big highlight of our week long mother/daughter adventure. It was spacious, well appointed with lots of art and all necessities, comfortable and so centrally located. A 6 minute walk to S Kensington station and square with lots of eateries and shops. A 7 minute walk in the other direction & you are greeted with more wonderful restaurants. On the corner of our block, a 3 minute walk, a local grocery store with everything you'd need. Onslow Mews was quite and tucked away from city sounds so we slept well every night! We loved it and plan to be back!

Very nice townhouse - lovely decor, well located
Very nice townhouse - very modern and open floor plan - lovely decor. We stayed over Thanksgiving and were able to prepare a wonderful dinner in the kitchen. Very well located to Museum of Natural History, and lots of restaurants. The underground station is just a couple of blocks and there is little grocery right around the corner. The property manager was very helpful.
The Perfect Choice....
This Mews House was the perfect choice for our month long visit to London. The charming Mews House exterior turned modern tri-level interior was spectacular. The open floor plan provided a roomy light filled space. The creative use of sky lights provided provided natural light on all levels- including the lower level. The house is furnished with impeccable taste - and wonderful art work abound on all levels. We were wanting to experience a real London neighborhood- and this location certainly exceeded our expectations - a great vibe, good restaurants, wine bar, pub, art galleries, parks, grocery, bakery - all within walking distance. Also, the tube stop was only a five minute walk away. Additionally, we felt secure walking in the neighborhood. Last, but not least, was the responsiveness of the property manager. Fay's response was always instant. No question, we highly recommend this property.
Lovely home for a week!
Our group consisted of 5 women, 3 of which had never been to London before. We so enjoyed our stay at this home in S Kensington and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Great location, lots of room, 2 living areas, open air, close to Museums, restaurants.coffee shops , g store and the S Kensington Tube is just down the street. Quiet area to retire after a long day of touring the busy city of London. Fay was available to check us in, show us all we needed to know about locking doors, TV access, internet, and info about the surrounding area. Loved it and would go back tomorrow! Thank you FAY!
Great place and great location
We just stayed at this property and had a great time. The location is very close to many restaurants and a grocery store. We had our two children (ages 4 and 6) and my mother-in-law. The apartment was definitely large enough for us. Fay and Mark were very nice and everything was as it was supposed to be. We walked to the Natural History Museum and Hyde Park (a bit of walk, but the kids made it). The tube station is very close. The kitchen has every appliance you could need. I would highly recommend this apartment.
We're so happy you had a great time - the weather wasn't at it's best, but the location is great for so many of London's sights. Fay
