About Audrey McRae - Alpine Management 1(970)-390-7685
Being from the South, the Sikes love to 'get away from it all' and head to Beaver Creek in Colorado where there is little heat and humidity.
Audrey McRae - Alpine Management 1(970)-390-7685 purchased this Townhome in 1997
Why Audrey McRae - Alpine Management 1(970)-390-7685 chose Beaver Creek
Christine likes that there are more easy 'green' ski-slopes at the top of the mountain than any nearby resorts. 'I can see the whole mountain valley when I get to the top, it is absolutely mesmerizing in its grandeur. I don't get that at other ski-resorts.' Her son, James, adds 'Most ski-resorts cater to either skiiers or snow-boarders, at Beaver Creek, i get attention to both of my passionsl'

What a nice surprise. This was a short walk to the resort area of Beaver Creek (where we needed to be for a a race we were doing). It's a beautiful home that wasn't quite captured as well in the pictures online. Very comfortable for everyone with three bedrooms.
Lots of stairs connecting each floor (bedroom 1, bedroom 2, bedroom 3, main floor, kitchen) so if you have bad knees maybe not the best fit, but we loved it!
Location, location, location
What a great trip! If you are looking for the ideal location for vacationing in Beaver Creek this is it. You are just walking minutes from the heart of the village stores and restaurants and of course the slopes. We did not use our rental car once. Condo is warm and cozy and offers all the amenities you would expect in a vacation home. Quiet with gorgeous view of the slopes from the living room. Ideal condo for adults and/or kids alike.
Great place to stay
Initially I had a difficult time getting in touch with the owner. Once he found this out he sent a gift basket as an apology which was waiting for us at our condo when we arrived. The place is located right on the hill and easily sleeps 6 people. I would definitely stay here again.
ski trip 1/29/15- 2/3/15
This is a very nice unit, it was very large with 3 full bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The condo was pretty close to ski in ski out. We had to walk about 250 yards to the closest lift and we could ski back to the parking lot. I also liked the fact that the hot tub was right outside this unit across the parking lot. We used the dial a ride every night to get down to the village to go eat and shop. The only thing I will say negatively was it was never very well stocked with essentials such as hand soap, dish soap, and even toilet paper. Beavercreek is an awesome place to ski and we were there just as the world ski championships started. We ate at Dusty Boot and Blue Moose in the village. Overall I really liked this condo we had a large group of 8 people and it worked well. The only other thing I will say is that the unit as lots of stairs 35 to go from the bottom bedroom all the way up to the kitchen. Those were tough after a long day of skiing.
OMG!! What a great time.
This place is fantastic. My wife and I were high bidder at a S.P.C.A. benefit auction last year, which the owner had so gratiously donated. It was more than we could have ever expected. Everything was first class. The condo is even better than the photos could ever show.
We invited two other couples to spend the week with us and each one had their own bedroom and private bath. The fourth floor was the living/tv room and the fifth was the kitchen and dining room. There is a small balcony off the living room were we sipped our morning coffee and look for deer. My wife saw a large buck right outside the condo the first morning. If you feel energetic, the tennis courts are right in front of the condo. If not, you can sit and watch the matches. There is also a hot tub right out the front door.
If you are looking for shopping, there are plenty of places to go. As far as eating, we ate at the West Side Cafe in Vail 7 times. The food was great and the staff fantastic. The rest of the time was filled with horseback riding, zip lining, whitewater rafting, fly fishing for the guys and a hot springs spa day for the gals. We went 4-wheeling on a mountain one day where my two friends go hunting every year so they could see the mountain without snow. There were plenty bikers, hikers, and golfers. I regret not taking my clubs. The courses look great.
I forgot to mention, the weather was fantastic, lows of mid 40's in the morning and highs in the mid to high 70's. This was great for folks from Florida in August.
