Confortable

  • 4 of 5

The place was comfortable and had a country feel to it that was inviting. My partner and I would sit outside the yard relaxing and enjoying the summer days.

Cottage in needs of improvements

  • 2 of 5

Been renting many places in PTown and this space could be great if improvements would be done to it and make the inside more friendly user.

1. If you want to cook, you need to know that there is no oven, microwave is almost down on the floor which make not easy to use and you will not find any cutting boards;

3. Description mention IPod dock or mini stereo chaine, they were no were to be seen during my stay;

4. BBQ was there but grill will very dirty and propane tank was empty;

5. TV is not at a very suitable place - if you are eating you need to move the table and chairs to be able to see it and very not comfortable either if you want to watch from the bed. Image is not good and remote did not function proprely (no sound control);

6. The cleanliness of the outside of the refrigerator was questionable as well as cupboards (kitchen sink) and tiroirs;

7. Floor moulding (on the bed wall) are falling down;

8. Owner should really gives instructions on the parking the space to avoid confusion with other tenants (maybe a good idea to prepare a instruction sheet);

9. You also need to be aware that the side of this cottage serves as the entrance and the turnaround for all the other tenants on the propriety, so you hear the cars coming in and get out at all time during the day and at night - not recommanded for light sleepers.

When you are paying that much money to rent such a cottage (it is not cheap), you are expecting to have all the basic commodities and not to have to call the owner or manager to have things fixed while you are there or ask about parking and so on.

Conclusion: I would return if management would ensure that details that make a stay enjoyable are taking care of and all commandites are provided and in working conditions.

Charming, secluded cottage

  • 4 of 5

We had a great stay here! The cottage is very charming, with it’s own lovely yard with patio furniture and grill. Inside, it was spacious, with a dining table and long window seat that are not shown in the photos. The bed was firm but comfortable and plenty of towels and linens were provided. The bathroom is small but new and very functional. There is no air conditioning, but a ceiling fan and two other floor fans were provided and there are plenty of windows for ventilation. The location is great, near the galleries on the East side and walkable to everything but away from the hustle and bustle. It is on a somewhat busy street, however, so there was moderate traffic noise. The owners were quick to respond to any questions and even invited us to a lobster cook-off they were having at their house near the cottage! Highly recommended if you desire a unique, secluded accommodation that captures the flavor of Provincetown.

Totally Cosy

  • 5 of 5

What a cute little cottage! We had such a fun stay in Provincetown. It felt like we had our own little castle. Steps from town but away from the craziness. It was very clean and well maintained. Georgia was very helpful and nice. What more could you ask for for a Cape Cod getaway.

Not so Beautiful

  • 2 of 5

Location is good, but this cottage was not as cozy and cute as we had hoped for. First off the owner was hard to get ahold of prior to checking in. There were not enough towels (for bath and beach) the ceiling fan was broken, the screen door needs to be replaced, the remote for the tv did not work, and the overall cleanliness of the cottage was not really all that great. We did tell the owner about the fan..but they did not offer to fix it or provide us with another one and there is no air conditioning in this cottage. Feels like they don't care enough about the place to really make it shine! Bummer. Will not return.
