20+ years in Whistler and Blueberry Hill is the best! No noisy village, but only 1minute drive to everything. A nice, comfy condo at Whistler lives very large and fun, we enjoy year round activities-walk to Alpha Lake beaches, village and Lost Lake all summer. Sweeping views and quiet venue!

Great for Whistler

Only in Whistler would $250US/night for this condo be great, but hey, it's Whistler. It's a very comfortable 3-star type place, and gets a 5-star rating for being exactly what is promised and expected.

The unit was bigger than we expected, true to the photos. We were there for a month, and for 1 week we were 7 people there, plus our baby son. There was enough space for us all to cohabitate comfortably, without driving each other crazy.

The kitchen is decently supplied with equipment, which was important because we cooked most of our meals, but we were disappointed to have to buy even the most basic food stuffs like pepper and oil.

Brian is very responsive to emails, and was very accommodating to our needs.

Great location and a great setup.

We were able to stay with a group of 8 guys comfortable for a 3 night ski trip. It is not far from the slopes but there is a bus and taxis are pretty inexpensive to get there as well since Whistler is minutes away. I would have given all of the stars but a burner on the stove was not working properly, some of the light bulbs were burnt out and there was only dishwasher tabs and no dish soap to wash pots and pans. All in all we had a great time for the time we were there.

Large Spacious Property, Good Location

Disappointed at this price...

The unit was spacious and quiet but is badly in need of some maintenance. For example, only one element on the stove works, the toaster caught on fire more than once and should be replaced, light bulbs were burnt out without replacement bulbs, dish detergent absent, broken closet doors etc. It would be helpful to have a place to put wet boots. The unit needs a chopping board and placemats. At this price point, it is difficult to recommend this property.

Owner's Response: With over 15 years of welcoming guests I strive to make each visit delightful. We have replaced the toaster and 2 light bulbs and the stove seems to work as expected. It was unfortunate that the bifold for in the master was awaiting a new track for repair, and that the guest did not find the placemats and cutting boards in the hutch-I will update the FAQ to assist future guests.

Conveniently close and comfortable

As a family of five, this had everything we needed for a comfortable apres-ski. The accommodation was a close 5 minute drive to Whistler village; it had ample choice of beds for us; good kitchen; wi-fi and TV. We used the hot tub, as well. It was not as easy to access but this didn't interfere with relaxing after a day of skiing. The employees of the Blackcomb rental group were accessible for questions and always helpful. The host, Brian, was equally kind and helpful.

This property is very dated

The kitchen cupboards and appliances, living room and bedroom furniture and carpet are old (+20 years) and in need of repair/updating. For example, one of the kitchen floor tiles had a 3"diameter hole with sharp edges and nine other floor tiles were cracked. In addition, we found some of the dishes to be dirty, and had to wash them before using. This unit is not close to the mountain, you require a car.

The owner was very helpful in supplying information and directions. He also addressed the dirty hot tub issue in a timely fashion.

Owner's Response: I appreciate the acknowledgement of a helpful owner. All details are provided in the listing (such as location relative to the lifts, etc) which this renter perhaps glossed over-although detailed driving and parking instructions were provided to him as requested. While unfortunate the renter found the dishes to be dirtier than desired, the unit has been found to be excellent by virtually all other renters.
