About Grace and Tom
We would like to introduce ourselves. We are Grace and Tom Ewert, Chicago flat-landers. Our family has been traveling to the mountains of Colorado for many years. On one of our ski trips we decided to make our dream of owning a home in the area a reality. We fell in love with Ski Tip Ranch the moment we saw it.
Grace and Tom purchased this Townhome in 2009
Why Grace and Tom chose Ski Tip Ranch, River Meadows
We love the Ski Tip Ranch location. Close enough to Keystone Village, but in a more secluded forested location. We enjoy the quiet, peaceful ambiance and the fact that we can hear the Snake River from our patio. We decided that convenience to Denver was very important to us.
What makes this Townhome unique
We would love to, but this space provided here is just to limited to mention all the wonderful benefits we have discovered in Summit County.

Another Great Stay at Ski Tip Ranch!
This was our second stay at Ski Tip Ranch, but our first stay in this particular unit. This trip was a 14 night stay and our prior trip was a 10 night stay, so we have become very familiar with the property and I would not hesitate to stay here again. On our previous trip, we had needed a 3 bed unit. We actually found this 2 bedroom unit was just as spacious and comfortable if you don't have to have a 3rd bedroom. The owners, Tom and Grace, were great to work with and quick to respond to any concerns, questions, or issues that came up. We love the open kitchen/dining/living area, the high ceilings, the garage and entry area for ski equipment, the half bath on the main level, and the peaceful location convenient to the bus stops and hot tub. The hot tub area must have been completely redone since our last trip a couple years back and is great because it does not seem to receive a lot of traffic, but is large enough if others are there as well. We cook every night on our trips and would rather enjoy our family time there instead of sitting in a restaurant. We found that the kitchen was great, fridge was huge, and there were plenty of pans, dishes, glassware, utensils, etc. We have stayed in places with nice kitchens, but with little to cook on and you won't have that problem here.
Unfortunately, this was not the best year for snow, but we have had some heavenly visits to Keystone in the past and I would recommend this resort to anyone, especially families or those that appreciate a well laid out mountain resort without the crowds, high cost, or poor layout of a mountain like Breck(just my opinion). We have been to many different resorts in Colorado and Utah, but we always end up right back at Keystone. If you like a great value, stay here and get yourself Keystone season passes ahead of time. You can't go wrong and it makes for an affordable family vacation.
The townhouse was beautifully set up and decorated. Top of the line kitchen appliances. Loved the layout of the first floor. Bedroom linens were luxurious and comfortable.
This is the best. This is not our first time at Grace and Tom’s unit and it will not be our last. When we come to Keystone, we like the idea of being in the Colorado wilderness with a secluded feel, yet close to the slopes. This area is just perfect. We rode the shuttle to the ski resort each day and were always the only people on the bus. No crowds. The view is the high point. Large floor to ceiling windows open to the woods and mountain in the backyard. It’s a postcard perfect picture. The year, we were lucky to be visited by a fox on the back patio. He came every night. This place will always hold special memories for our family.
Ski Tip Ranch 2 bedroom townhome
The townhome is beautiful and very comfortable. Grace and Tom were easy to communicate with and everything we needed was right there. Ski Tip is a beautiful area- nice a quiet but still convenient to the ski area. Will definitely rent this unit again!
clean tidy comfortable townhouse on a stream in a beautiful setting
This is our second year in this townhouse. It is relatively secluded with nature all around. We come for the change of the seasons and the aspen colors. We've been coming to Keystone since 1972 and this by far has been the best accommodations. Our new friends are 2 red foxes that camp out near the back deck and greet us daily. The owners, Grace and Tom communicate with us and are very nice. Highly recommended.
Wonderful, highly recommended
We enjoyed our stay so much. It is a very relaxing, quiet area but close enough to walk to restaurants, bars and activities. Nature in the form of moose, fox, birds, chipmunks & squirrels come visit. Walking and biking trails are right outside. The stream behind the condo lulls you to sleep at night. It was wonderful to watch the full moon come up over the mountain.
Internet & TV were excellent. Great amenities and plenty of towels. Beds are comfortable. Hot tub is in a really convenient location, right across the road. Free area bus stops are close
Lots of room inside with a great layout and decorated so well. It was the cleanest condo we've stayed in. We stayed 2 months and it had everything we needed to cook meals. Everything makes you feel right at home.
Owners were easy to work with and the best place we've stayed. Hope to get back next year.
