About Sandra and Martin Button

My husband and I both have very busy schedules that include lots of travel and the day-to-day requirements of running our own companies. We come to Lopez to rejuvinate and spend time with our family. I grew up in Seattle and have a deep appreciation for all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. We love to fish, hike, kayak, snoop around the village, cook, and spend time here unplugged from the demands of our hectic lives. This is our dream house and we are sure you will enjoy its charms as much as we do.

Island Retreat Indeed

  • 5 of 5

This was our second year hosting our annual Teaching Team Retreat at Channel House. The house is spacious and yet cozy, plenty of room to meet and dine in a large group, and smaller rooms where small groups can meet, and individuals can have solitude, if desired. Views are spectacular, decks extend living space to the outdoors, hot tub is a bubbly bonus! House manager was available if needed, but doesn't hover, which is nice. We'll be back next year!

It was a quiet winter getaway that makes you dream of summer.

This was a great home, full of life and character. I biked everyday, got in the hot tub, cooked breakfast and dinner and explored the island during the day. Easy to use electronics and multimedia made it tempting to watch a movie if we were indoors and not in the hot tub. Thanks for the hospitality...
