Sports & Adventure Activities
This property has a great location with easy walking to beach, the pier and to lots of restaurants. Also, easy walking to the metro. Fenced in patio provided some outdoor time for my grandson while adults were making meals (a great plus for active children!)
Great Location and Comfortable Accommodation!
We had a wonderful stay in Santa Monica in large part due to the awesome rental! It was a perfect location for us and the house was cozy. Great place to be a home base for exploring Santa Monica and Venice. Walking distance to the beach and was quiet at night. Would absolutely stay here again. The bungalow had a great layout and everything we could have asked for. The price cannot be beat!
The house was a very convenient 4-5 block walk to the beach. There were restaurants that we could walk to. Neighborhood was pleasant with a little market close by. We could also walk to Metro station which we did to take the Metro to DTLA.
The beds were comfortable with good linens which is always a plus.
Great location, easy walk to ocean, coffee shops, etc. Private and secure. Great little place with a great vibe.
Clean and functional - close to the beach
Our family just returned from a 4 night stay and enjoyed the bungalow. It was just the right size for our family of 5 with 3BR. There's a decent sized outdoor patio when you walk into the property. Once inside, there is a comfortable living and dining area right in front of you, while all 3BR and the 2BA are to the left. Plenty of towels, and additional pillows/blankets. Our 1st night in town was below 50F. So we needed the use of the wall heater in the main room and the extra blankets.
There is plenty built up all around that part of town....including a hotel/condo development on one side. The owners have done a good job of making the space seem open, while also helping to retain your privacy.
Location is great, as it's a 10-15 minute walk to the Santa Monica Pier. You can rent bikes nearby, and head down to Venice Beach for plenty of people watching. The 3rd Street Promenade is also very close. Great central location to everything in that part of town.
Good Value, Great Location, Spacious and Welcoming
We are a family with 2 older teenagers and we loved staying at this unit. Delightful Courtyard, Very Spacious, Eclectic and Fun Decorating. We did bring the verandah chair inside for extra comfortable seating in the living area - a dining room chair at the end of a long day doesn't quite do it. The Pier and upmarket shopping all within walking distance. Easy access to freeways. Quiet, cute and safe neighbourhood. Comfy beds. Clean and welcoming. 2 Bathrooms but only one with a shower and a rusty bath in the other. Plenty of shampoo and soap but kitchen a little understocked - just salt and sugar, but I have a feeling Charles would have been very happy to bring over whatever we needed - he was great to communicate with - prompt and very accommodating - allowed a late check out as we had a very late flight back home to Australia. We really appreciated that! Parking with the special pass was easy - always very close to unit. We enjoyed our stay here. We were on a 3 week holiday, travelling across the USA, and stayed in vrbo self catering accommodation in 5 cities. If there had been a second usable bath/shower and a little coffee and creamer available for our arrival, this would have been our favourite place. Small things, but for the weary traveller, a big impact.
