Thanks for checking out my Maui paradise! To start, I'd like to make it known that there is a construction project at the complex, slated to finish in mid-2019. Kauhale Makai strives to keep both buildings looking great, so right now all of the concrete balconies are being resurfaced. The work to my unit is complete.
It's a two bedroom condo that has been updated thoroughly over the last few years. There are new bamboo floors in each bedroom and the unit is repainted every year. The bathrooms and kitchen were recently renovated and include granite countertops and new sinks. The kitchen appliances were replaced in 2015. Just installed a new refrigerator in 2018.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools you need to cook a great meal. There is a large assortment of pots and pans and dishes, as well as any gadgets you may need.
There is a king size bed (purchased in 2016) in the master, two new (2017) twin beds in the second bedroom, and a brand new (2017) queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Two full bathrooms- one with shower and one with shower/tub combo. Both bathrooms have new tile and granite.
Flat screen TVs, cable and free WiFi -- if you just can't disconnect! There are also beach chairs, plenty of towels, a cooler, and an umbrella for your beach adventures.
Kauhale Makai (Village by the Sea) is a well maintained complex. Quiet and family-friendly. Pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, putting green, shuffle board, and volleyball all on property. Tennis courts right next door!
The complex is situated on a large grassy field that runs right to the beach. Great for morning walks along the coast.
THERE IS NO SMOKING ALLOWED ANYWHERE IN OUR COMPLEX, INSIDE OR OUT. If you are a smoker, I suggest another location.
The Kihei location is ideal. It's the halfway point between Lahaina and Wailea. The town of Kihei has many affordable dining options as well.
