Reviewer Comments:

- All in all this is a great condo with an incredible view of the beach and ocean. Don't forget your binoculars! We watched dolphins and rays pass along the coast each day. The sunrises and sunsets were magnificent! The place was clean and the description and pictures accurate. - A few things that might have improved our stay are (1) shades or blinds on the large living room windows (it stayed very warm in the living room during the afternoon because there is no way to block the sun from shining in), the bedrooms stayed nice and cool; (2) new mattresses, they all make noise and are not very comfortable; (3) TV with HD for watching college football (we couldn't see the ball when it was in the air); and (4) the couch is getting worn out, you sort of slide out as you sit. We were also not a fan of having to wear the armbands at all times. - We had hoped to walk the beach for exercise each day but the hard packed sand part of the beach was too steep and narrow :( - We cooked breakfast each morning (FYI the oven is very slow to heat up) and ate lunch in, so each night we ate dinner out at Dee's Hang Out, Schooners, Saltwater Grill and Uncle Ernie's Bayfront. For the food we recommend Schooners (shrimp flatbread appetizer was great and grilled redfish); Saltwater Grill (grilled redfish & red snapper, redfish etouffee, and their bread is good). Dee's was our least favorite but still good (smoked tuna dips, grouper sandwich). Uncle Ernie's (food was good, more pricey and smaller portions, atmosphere was great though). Beautiful sunsets at Schooners and Uncle Ernie's. We ate about 5:00 each evening to beat the crowds and that worked out great! - We had hoped to walk the beach for exercise each day but the hard packed sand part of the beach was too steep and narrow :( - We did enjoy our stay and would recommend this property.

Reviewer Comments:

Great condo! It would have been even greater if the beds were updated. There was a negative comment from 2015 in the guest book in the condo about the beds. We had a few days of sunshine before Nate made landfall. Bottom line: I would not recommend this condo to anyone who has a bad back.

Owner's Response: Thank you for letting us know about the beds. This is a new owner and he wants everything to be perfect. All three beds have been replaced with new ones. We could have had this done right away if you would have call me. To future guests, please call me if you are having any issues. This unit is beautiful and has amazing views of the beach. The Tidewater is a highly sought-after beach front resort. It's in a great location, has great amenities and in walking distance to Pier Park.

Beautiful condo with excellent views! Elevators are a bit on the slow side and could use some new furniture on the balcony.those are my only complaints other than that we were very pleased with this unit .
