Anna Maria the manager of this home is exceptional. She goes above and beyond to make sure your stay and vacation is the best. We are arriving today. I will update this review in a week. So far the best customer service we have ever had and we rent through vbro often
Just finished our 4 night stay. Six dads and six sons all of whom are graduating from HIGH SCHOOL this June. Overall house was very solid. Loved the kitchen and man cave hang out areas. Only negatives: on arrival the house manager ANNA did not take the time to get rid of the snow on the outside deck area. Took about 45 minutes for us to shovel the ice and snow off the table and chairs on the deck. That being said we never used the outside area because it was too cold outside. I would highly recommend some kind of outdoor fire pit where guys can hang out and smoke cigars. The other complaints we had was the HOT TUB did not have a new filter on arrival and the main TV in the den did not work. Home manager ANNA did respond quickly to fix all this however when paying big money per night we expect perfection on arrival! The other thing that is kind of off kilter is the layout of the rooms. 5 bedrooms on one side of the house and 3 on the total other side. House built to represent a French Chateau which is great however you better have the strength to be able to drag your luggage up and down a ton of stairs. Any older or guests with a disability: this house no good! One final complaint. Yes you can walk to the lift however it is a huge up hill walk to get to the CHARTER SPORTS ski valet/ lift area so we drove the 2 minutes and parked in the $20 lot per day across from the entrance. Bottom line: by end of the trip we all really like the house. The house was very clean.....the beds great.....and everyone in the end was happy. Would I stay there again? Yes.......assuming Anna would make some of the changes suggested in this review. PS....I have rented 7 major houses all over USA over last 7 years. Overall I would say this is a quality rental home.
We stayed at the Villa 6/29-7/6/13 and our family of 11 enjoyed everything this home has to offer. Our family ranged in age from 5-69......... Three generations and we did class 4/5 rafting, golfing, fly fishing with guide Cooper from Gore Creek fishing, hiking up & down Vail mountain , rode gondola, watched July 4 th parade, rode bikes all over, used home hot tub. Anna Marie was the best manager ever. She had all our groceries for us plus fresh flowers from the homes gardens............our family cannot wait to come back!!
The Villa it is a wonderful place to stay at Vail, the house is so big that we could spend our summer vacations with my family-in-law. You really wet what you see in the photos, it is very clean and in a excellent conditions. The kitchen is splendid and is the heart of the house, nothing is missing you could cook whatever you want. All the amenities are very Luxury, the Linens Provided, the supplies everything.
It is a great place to spend some vacations, you can go everywhere from the Villa, if you have bikes you could even go to the Safeway or ride to the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater to hear a great concert or use the free public transportation system.
Anna the manager so gentle that any problem that we might have she solved so quickly, in a blink of an eye, she make us fill like home
This is such a nice Villa, that we would be back for sure!!!
I rented this house for a group of 8 people for a work event. There were no significant others on the trip, so everyone having their own bed/bedroom was a requirement. The house is wonderful! The bedrooms and bathrooms are all very nice. There is a lot of common area to spread out in (multiple living rooms, dens, parlors, sitting rooms etc) and it's all very comfortable. You can curl up and read a book, watch tv or a movie, play pool, sit in the hot tub etc. The kitchen is great for getting the group together to prepare meals and eat, either in the less formal kitchen dining area or the formal dining room. The location is great, a short walk to the Cascade village ski shops and ski lift. It is truly a beautiful property which comfortably accommodates a large group. Highly recommend and hope to go back myself!
Had an opportunity to spend a week in this villa to celebrate a special occasion with family and close friends. Anna was exceptional to work with in coordination and ensuring we were settled and the property itself was wonderful. The layout rambles somewhat - which made for an ideal setup for our group. We found that we could spread out and have privacy while still having great common spaces for meals and relaxing. The location was also very good - the lift that services the cascade was close enough for us to base out of the house vs. parking in the village which made coordination much simpler. Overall, our stay was very good and the weather cooperated as well with fresh snow. I expect the property will be equally good, if not better in the summer given the location next to the river and great open spaces. Will look forward to the time when we can come back and stay.
