Nice Property - Well Appointed

  • 4 of 5

Stayed for 2 weeks in August. Condo was just as pictured, except for a pleasant surprise of having an upgraded washer/dryer. Very well appointed. The first few days it got quite toasty in the afternoon, but by 6 pm opened all the doors and windows to get a wonderful cross breeze. Nights were cool enough to use the fireplace. The only reason it has 4 instead of 5 stars was the noise. Although you are on the 2nd/3rd floor, the mountain geography results in the main road and gravel parking area being on the same level and very close to the condo. At first, not a problem, but as time went on many vacationers arrived that did not heed the speed limits. In fact, one such family ended up with their car on its side in ditch. That said, I would stay again. Lots to do in the area, and the Killington Market is just a few miles away if you don't have time to visit the larger chain supermarkets in Rutland. My sister and I particularly liked the Back-End BBQ, about a mile east of the Bear Mtn road entrance. Also, Barbara, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with.

Comfortable and clean

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed this unit very much. Kitchen is very well-stocked with dishes and amenities. Very clean. July is a quiet time to go, but the tennis courts had just been resurfaced and were in great shape, and the indoor and outdoor pools were a bonus. You can walk to them in approximately 15 minutes going downhill there, and uphill to return.

We had a great time

  • 5 of 5

The condo was great, very clean . The kitchen was well equipped . We had a good time around the fireplace. We also used the pool and the hot tub after ski , very relaxing. The ski conditions were not at their best , a lot of fog, but the skiers among us enjoyed it anyway.

MLK weekend getaway - great condo!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here with 3 kids and 2 adults over the MLK holiday weekend. Barbara was very communicative and ensured we had all the information needed prior to arriving. The condo was excellent - very clean, very cozy, and in a great location. The firewood was a really nice perk and we made it down to the pool at the rec center one night which was great. There was enough snow to use the ski on/ski off feature which was wonderful! (note - be mindful of your time and location on the mountain if you want to make it back to the condo before the lifts close - we messed that up 1 day!) We felt very 'at home' and will certainly plan a return stay.

New Years Eve

  • 5 of 5

The condo was great and Barbara was very accommodating. The condo was a perfect location and relatively close to the Killington access road. The ski in/ski out was very convenient. We had a fantastic time - definitely somewhere we would go again!
