Paulette Welsh purchased this house in 2005
We came to this area often to visit our parents and soon fell in love with the charm of the area and the historic value of all the quaint surrounding towns.
You can do as much or as little as you want to do while staying here. You can ski in the winter, hike in the summer, go wine tasting, and enjoy the sunset in the evening. This is a very special place. You will be mesmerized by the views that change with the weather.
Paulettes' charming house overlooking the rolling hills all the way to the far way mountains is indeed a treat to stay in. My wife and I found ourselves counting the sheep, horses, burros, and alpacas which graze continuously on the neighboring properties. Our counts varied as they came in and out of view all day. For a relaxing enjoyable stay go no further.
my mother's group escaped children for 3 days and had a beautiful time in Plymouth and the Shenandoah Valley. This house has all the amenities and comfort of home. the views are spectacular and Paulette goes above and beyond to ensure you have an enjoyable time.
This was a beautiful and very comfortable house and the back porch supplied much needed relaxation. The neighborhood was fantastic for walks in the mornings. And its located within a short drive of the amador wineries. The owner was always responsive to our questions and concerns right away. Even when we had trouble with the dishwasher, the owner made arrangements to get our dishes washed so we didn't have to do them on our vacation. The only concern we had was the ac was programed to 80 degrees at night and locked and not allowed to go below 74. Once we got it straightened out we kept it at 74, but being from Colorado, we like it cooler, especially in the evenings. Overall a great stay.
Beautiful home with incredible views.... Very comfortable home and would highly recommend this home.
One of the best homes we have stayed in. Plenty of room, great views and a beautiful house. We plan on returning next year. Loved all the wineries and they were close by.
