The Lagoon townhome/condos deliver again.

I have stayed at a few locations throughout Frisco in the past. This condo located at Lagoon Townhomes delivers everytime. The location is close to downtown/wholefoods/and I-70. You have access to the bike path right outside the back door. Or even some hiking across I70 at lily pad lake.

With the recent upgrade such as new carpet, kitchen table,TV, WiFi and bathroom fixtures, I am always feeling at home when I come up for a weekend stay.

Beautifully Updated, Easy Access, Very Clean - Great Owner

We were texted directions for access the day before arrival and went straight to the unit, where the key was in a lock box by the garage. We were an hour early and the property manager had no problem with letting us in at that time. Up an easy flight of stairs and we were in the condo. We found it to be very clean with basics provided such as shampoo, soap, garbage bags, and the typical things you need to get started on your vacation. The kitchen is large and had everything we needed to cook for the week (lots of pots, pans, dishes, silverware - all provided). We loved the 3 balconies for fresh air and views. The clubhouse had a great pool, which the kids loved. Thank you Linda - we will be booking again!

Great ski vacation!

Loved the spaciousness of this condo and its proximity to major ski areas in Summit County! The kitchen was modern and well equipped. A bonus was relaxing in the massage chair after a day on the slopes. Beds were very comfortable. Only downside was you have to climb a flight of stairs to the main living area which is all on one floor and the garage is a bit narrow for large vehicles. The owner responded promptly to any questions we had in addition to 24/7 service provided if needed. Overall this was a great place to stay, and we’re planning on it again next year.

Bad management and dirty condo!

When we arrived in the evening we had been told that our keys would be in the mailbox at the management office. No keys had been left for us so I had to call the 24 hour hotline and the woman said she forgot to leave me the keys. I could wait for 20 minutes for her to come meet me or I had to open the lock box with the office keys and go in the dark office to find the condo keys. I went in and found them and then had to lock up the office. Then, when we arrived there was dried urine and hair on the back of the toilets. They obviously hadn't been cleaned. We had a dishwasher full of dishes from the previous renters WE had to put away, and the condo provides nothing in the way of cooking sprays, oils, spices etc. The owners provide nothing so stock up on everything you expect to use in a kitchen! We called management for more blankets and they said tough luck that what we have is all they offer. The walls are so thin that if the people in the condo above run their washing machine, the entire condo bangs and shakes. The garage belonging to the 3rd floor condo is below the master bedroom of this condo, so the condo shook many times during the day as they came and went. Way overpriced for what you get!

Owner's Response: We feel this review is exaggerated and untruthful in many ways. Mistakes do happen, and the guests’ keys were not out upon their arrival. They were given easy directions to enter the office and pick up keys instead of having to wait for someone to drive to the office. To avoid this issue happening again, we have changed to direct access where key pick up is no longer required. We wish the guests had called our 24/7 service because our housekeeping uses a yellow, lemon scented based cleaning agent and feel strongly that this is what the guest had mistaken for urine. Housekeeping should have emptied the dishwasher but had they called, the office would have sent someone to do that versus their waiting to get home to send such a review. Five blankets are provided in addition to comforters on all beds which we feel is ample. The heat works very well and there is also a fireplace. The home is a brick structure and does not "shake". However, the garage door is under the condo itself and you can hear it go up and down when in use which is generally during the day as our neighbors are professionals who don't come and go late at night. Kitchen spices and oils are not advertised as pantry items. Our housekeepers do leave non-perishables as they are left by guests but we cannot guarantee exactly what might be there. We always keep salt, pepper, sugar, and coffee filters. Ultimately, we are very disappointed that the guest did not contact us with many of the issues that could have been resolved during their stay. Our property is updated every year (new bedroom carpet, dining set, and dishwasher this year) and a very good value for the price.

Extremely comfortable and well located

This is a wonderful modern condo with a lovely gas fireplace and a spa bath. The interior laundry was a great plus because we didn't have to bring a mountain of clothes and we could wash when needed and it was so convenient. The spa bath in the master was fabulous after a hard day of skiing. It was really big with a separate hose to do your hair.

Another big plus is having a heated could leave all your heavy equipment down there and walk up the one flight of stairs to your unit with just yourself.

A word of warning the garage is tight on the sides so you may want to check with the owner if you have a huge SUV.

The main grocery store was a short walk or drive away and this location is great for all the Vail Corp ski fields and Copper as well. Nothing is more than 1/2 hr away.

The clubhouse is a short drive, so pile up the family and get into those hot tubs and pool. We met some very lovely people in the Tubs. If you want powerful jets, these tubs didn't provide, but they were hot and soothing to the muscles.

I was a bit confused as getting into the place. Where you pick the keys up, there is not special code to get into the after hours's unlocked. The garage opener is on the counter in the unit, so someone has to run up first to get that before you can use the garage.

The place feels spacious and has a tree outside that attracts the winter birds.
